Default New poster from Chicago-area

Hi My name is Kelli. I'm 21 years old. My weight loss journey has quite a few chapters. I was at 220lbs. and a size 22 in 8th grade. I went down to a size 17 over the summer, and stayed there until my sophomore year of college.

I decided to start going to the gym last summer, and in September was down 20lbs. Since then however, I've been stuck at 170. I'm undergoing surgery in 2.5 months and am hoping to be down at least 20lbs by then, if not more.

Every other forum I've joined everyone seemed more interested in muscle than just being healthy, so hopefully this time it's a better fit. Hope to see you guys in the forum

Welcome to the forum, Kelli. There are a lot of people with a lot of different goals on 3fc, so I'm sure you'll find a place to fit in. Some of us are even interested in building muscle, both for aesthetic and for health reasons.

Welcome Kelli, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
