Cool I think I can... I think I can.... I CAN!

So, here I am. Age 28 and weighing entirely too much. It's crept up, I won't lie. I have been on a roller coater with optimal weight health my entire life. I believe most of my problem is inactivity and definitely wrong eating habits. I have tried many different thing to lose weight and they all worked... for a little while. I'm under the impression and perhaps it's a "duh" statement to make, but I believe that I cannot diet and just be happy. I need an entire lifestyle makeover. So, today is a brand new day. My plan is to eat at least 5 meals a day with a caloric intake of no more than 1500 calories. Yes, I know 1500 calories seems a bit extreme, but there was a time I took no more than 600 per day. I have a treadmill and a home gym as well. So, here we go... off on the ride and I can't wait to share this experience with others and be there for new friends too.

If you think you can, then you definitely can!

You have some good foundations as far as the number of meals and setting a calorie limit.

Some advice to add to that diet (or any other really) would be to cut out sugar, and drink more water. I've found those things alone can help people that are just starting out (or starting out again)

Thanks for the advice Adam. I am already pushing to drink more water and really watching refined sugar. It's hard though... Mama loves her sweet tea!! LOL
