My name is Kimmie and I live in Bamberg SC. I am hoping to continue my weightloss journey with a little support from people like me. I used to be a "normal" weight about 9 years ago. But my weight got up to 289 lbs I have gotten down to 248 I bounce up and down between 239 and 248. I am a mom of 4 and I used to hike...surf...jog...now....well now I am just miserable with myself and what I have become. I look in the mirror and see a stranger looking back...I am really trying to get "ME" back...its not about the number...I just don't want to shop in the plus sized clothing anymore...I want to be active again...I finally got my Thyroid under control thru meds. so that hurdle is out of the way. People just can't imagine how difficult it is to lose weight...I hear plenty of..."just eat less...or exercise more...la.. la.. la.. ect ect ect,..Hey!! I know that...but putting it to action is much more difficult!! Any way..that is pretty much it for now..LOL

Welcome Kimmie, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
