Hello everyone! I'm another new member around here and thought a great place to start would be by introducing myself. I'm 29 and a stay at home mom with 4 kids. I attend school full time and am about halfway to my degree in education to teach high school math.
I've been over weight most of my life, but it was only 10 to 20 lbs. With my first pregnancy I gained 75 lbs and was never able to get rid of it. Each subsequent pregnancy I've gained some and just kept creeping up the ladder. Christmas of 2009 I weighed 319 lbs and it was a huge eye opener to me. I hadn't realized how heavy I had gotten but I was starting to feel terrible. No motivation, couldn't get through the day without pain. I started my journey to getting healthy just over a year ago. last year I managed to lose 40 lbs, but over the holidays I put almost half of that back on. It was a huge set back for me. I've been back on track now for about a week an this time around I knew I needed support from others in similar situations.
So.... that brought me here! I look forward to getting to know some of you better!

Grizzlygirl, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.
