Default new here

I am 21 years old and i weigh 215. i'm only 5'2. I've been this weight for about 2 years now and i'm absolutely sick of it. It's hurting my health and I'm just unhappy.. I don't ever want to go anywhere or hang out with people. I just feel gross. But I have no motivation.. even though I feel that bad , it's hard for me to go walk or to exercise. I always have excuses... its too cold outside, my back hurts today, it's only one piece of cake. I end up eating SO MUCH in one day. I was hoping anyone could help me on ideas of motivation to exercise and ways to not feel hungry all the time.

Thanks

HEY!! Congrats on making a change!

So we are very similar! I am 5'2-5'3 and was once over 200 lbs. If you are interested it was very helpful when I had a weight loss buddy to email or chat with!! I would love to help you out because I too struggle with those same issues with food and stuff

Hey there, Kacie, and

The most important thing for me to remember was that every decision counts, even the "little" ones that feel insignificant. So I'd ask myself, with all of those little decisions, "will this move me closer to or farther from my goal". It helped!

It was also helpful to plan my eating and exercise ahead of time and record it. I'd have a menu plan for the day and an exercise plan written, and that made it a lot easier to make the choice to follow it. I still do this, in fact, by posting my daily menu and exercise plan on the maintainers forum.

Anyway, look around, find a spot, and settle in. Can't wait to get to know you better!

Welcome Kacie

You're got a good thing going by coming here and wanting to head towards a healthier lifestyle. Not many people can do what you just did. Look around the forum and absorb all that there is to know about other individuals, just like you and I, struggling and motivating. I hope the best on your journey and give us a holler if you need some encouragement!
