Hello, all! Years ago I used this site to get a little help with some weight loss. After that, I went through law school and became 1) sedentary, and 2) a wine appreciator! Now that I'm an attorney, and 30 lbs larger, I have a little more time, and a LOT more drive, to take control of my weight and my happiness.
I have the most trouble winding down at night. I am very good about food (I'm a calorie counter, with protein and veggie tentancies), but after 2-3 glasses of wine at night for 3 years, the sugars have done a number to my butt.
I have started drinking "Mocktails" (I love me some perrier and lime!), and I have started a journal, tracking my daily food and exercise, with a list of various ways to calm me down/get my mood in check.
The biggest thing I need is some folks to help me through the difficult (but rewarding) months ahead, and to help me find my daily focus and inspiration. I know there are a lot of successful, wonderful, and inspired people on this site, and I look forward to browsing your posts and blogs. I am setting up a blog, with the same name as my login for the forum (jessandemma2011), and I look forward to helping others, and myself, through a healthier and thinner 2011.
