Just starting out...for the second time.

  • My name is Kelly and I am overweight.

    In the last five years I have gained "happy" weight. I'm 26, a full-time student and IT professional for a large hospital.

    Last spring I took the first steps to get back into shape by joining WW, running, joining a gym and trying to eat healthy. I even managed to run two
    5k's in under 45 min. Not bad for someone who had never ran a 5k before.

    But the weather in Michigan turned warm and I complained it was "too hot" to run outside. Next thing I knew I was eatting fast food again, skipping the gym and jumping from a size 16 to an 18. Enough is a enough.

    I'm back!

    I'm ready and I'm not stoping until I gain control of my eating habits.

    Here are my goals:
    My goal weight is still TBD but I'm going to make a short term goal of 20 lbs.
    I will run my March 5k in under 30 min.
    I will complete p90x (bought it two years ago) just for satisfaction. Take that infomercial!
    I will finish Nursing school as an example of health and hard work.
