Hello!
My name is Jenn and I am a 20 year old college student. I weigh about 285 lbs and am 5'5. I have been overweight for most of my life, but have gained over 60 lbs in the past 2 years. Whenever I try a diet, I get too confused (do I count calories, not count calories, count carbs, not eat any carbs, etc.) and am at a point where I do not know what to do anymore. I have joined a gym (still haven't gone yet, of course) and am DYING to start a diet/workout routine, but just don't know where to start.
My family is full of overly skinny women and weight loss related support is definitely not their forte...so I am so glad I came across this forum and look forward to learning more about you all, and about myself, on this crazy adventure that I (have yet) to start.
