I have been trying to stick to a weight loss plan.. Its not going well, I have become discouraged with boredom and not seeing results

I know I am expecting to much to fast..
My backstory:
I had a bad fall in january that resulted in a nasty sprain to my ankle and hip and a dislocated knee that required surgery in march to fix. Since then I have gained about 15 pounds and I Am now where I can ride my bike without pain. I want to get riding again taht is one of my faorite things in the world. ( besides my kids)
I have an IUD and i am on zoloft. Both of which are causing weight gain
I turned 30 last spring, and that was when I wanted a lifestyle change. I am about 5'3 and as of this morning I Weigh 160 pounds. That puts me about 40 pounds above what the doc thinks I should be. My waist is at 40 inches as of this morning. I am an apple shape, so I think that makes my waist that much bigger..
I am really looking for support, i want to be healthier by this comming spring. If not where I want to be then at least 25 pounds closer then I am now.
Thanks for letting me get all of these numbers off my chest!
