Hello all,
I've been losing weight since last October but with at least eleven stone to lose it's a long journey. I've always been overweight, but I weighed myself last May and discovered to my horror I was 22 stone. Lost a stone and a half quickly, but put it all back on almost immediately. Started doing Paul McKenna's system as what I thought then was an extreme measure and have had a lot of success with it, losing five stone. Now I'm determined to get to a healthy weight for the first time in my life and as soon as possible.
Unfortunately I'm struggling as I am back living in the family home after several years of independence and I'm not getting the support I need here at the scene of the crime. I organise and cook healthy meals for everyone every week, without a thank you of course, and am consistently being sabotaged in this. Cooking separate meals isn't an option, and budget stresses are being very keenly felt at the moment (hence my attempts at planning meals in advance rather than going round to the supermarket four times a week, but whatever...).
I joined here to be among like minded souls hopefully and pick up tips, recipes and support, and somewhere that will remind me to keep going. Look forward to meeting you all
