Default ...and, another one.

Another noob. I am about to finish college and start my career. I have focused so much on that one aspect of my life that everything else has fallen by the wayside. I am excited that I will have time and energy to focus on regular exercise and cooking health meals with real food. Also - I am excited about making money instead of spending it!
So - this is the beginning.

I just graduated college last August and I will admit my highschool and college years were pretty stressful I didn't do much of anything productive on the health front. I'm hoping that since I am out on my own I can make a change for the better.

The last two semesters of my Bachelor's took a toll on my weight loss as the work was intense and the choice was between exercising, or passing my classes. Good eating habits fell by the wayside as well, as I ate when I could, what was available. But it's definitely time to fix that!

I remember the days when I worked full time. Structure, not always feeling guilty because I should have been studying. I'm back at University now, and not only do I not exercise, I'm a writer so I sit on my arse for hours and hours and hours, procrastinating, telling myself I'm going to start working any second now, until finally, between 10pm-1am I get a sudden burst of energy and in 20 minutes type out 1000 words.

If I could just do that at the START of the day, then I'd have the rest of the day doing other stuff, like going to the gym.

So yeah, I feel you when talking about your difficulties during university, and I hope when you settle into the real world it all starts falling into place.

Be warned, especially at the beginning, you'll probably be too exhausted after work to cook, but you'll get used to the long work hours. Good luck!
