My name is Becky and I have a goal of loosing 135lbs. I started my life style change about 4 weeks ago and have lost 20 lbs thus far. I am worried that I am loosing it way to fast and that I will just regain it when done just as before. But am making myself eat 5 small meals a day. And not going hungry.
I walk on a treadmill every other day. But can not get further than 3:30 seconds yet.
I know that it has taken me years upon years to get where I am at. And want my life back.
I am also owned by Diet Sunkist. I have tried and tried to drop the stuff, but keep going back. But am proud to say that I have had a good couple of days where I have only had three glasses. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can kick this habit I would love to hear them.
I quit smoking last year after smoking for 23 yrs. And know that if I can do that, I can do anything.
I am proud that I found all of you. And look forward to a healthier life along with some new friends.
It sounds like you are already on the right track. I quit smoking myself when I started dieting as well as giving up alcohol. As far as the Diet Sunkist, I wish I had some advice to give. I personally love Diet Sunkist and have one when I want one. It has not affected my weight loss whatsoever.
Just wanted to welcome you to the site! I wish you luck on your weightloss and we're here when you need a push. ;-)
Glad you joined us. 3FC is a great resource for help and support on your journey.
I gave up diet coke somewhere along my journey. I substituted tea and other non-caloric beverages. I bought lots of flavored teas and occasionally use stevia to sweeten them.
i am still a diet dr pepper addict. one thing at a time, lol. 20 lbs in 4 weeks does seem fast, but if your starting weight was really high it might not be too fast. most people tend to lose a lot the first few weeks and then it slows down. just make sure you're eating enough!
