Hi everyone,

Just stopping in to introduce myself and say hi...

here's a little about me:

-I'm 22
-From Ontario Canada, and work in customer services for a car company
-Was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and want to make changes in my life to take control of my health. No better time to start like the present!
-Currently weigh about 285 and hoping to make it down to 195 as an initial goal

I look forward to getting to know everyone better and becoming a member of the boards.

You may want to check out a few places to start. There's the 20-somethings, the Dieting with Obstacles area for those with Diabetes, and the 100 lb club (for those of us with about 100 lbs or more to shed).

It's so possible to do this! Do you have an exercise or eating plan? Let us know!
