Hi everyone, my name is Heather and I am new to the forum. I have been reading posts for a long time but for some reason I have been afraid to post. I know its silly but for some reason it sticks with me. Its like if you say something out loud then its really true. Well I think that I am ready, I know that having support from people that are going through the same thing will help me.
I do have really good family suport. My sister and I live together and we are both working out and eating right. We are doing Weight Watchers right now but are thinking about counting calories instead. Last month we were able to join the ymca and are going about 5 days a week. If you would have told me that a year or even 6 months ago I wouldn't have believed it. I have currently lost 32lbs and am feeling good. I have arthritis really bad in my hips, knees and back so I always thought that working out would hurt more than it would help so imagine my surprise when I started feeling better!

I still have flair ups to the point of not being able to move, but they happen less frequently and for shorter periods.
Well thats all for now, I hope that I can keep it up. I know that for me I do better when I post and blog.
I hope that you all have a Happy Holiday!!!!
