Hi folks!
I was browsing the net for weight loss support and found this site. It seemed so inspiring that I had to join!
I just started my my new healthy life last Sunday (9-22-08) and I am looking forward to everything that comes with it.
I am 44, mom of 3, divorced, 5'11" tall and a whopping 340lbs ( Last Sunday I was 346! Not bad for my first week, huh? I;ve been logging my food intake and activity faithfully on thedailyplate.com (a great site btw) and it seems to help a lot.
I started working out this week as well mon-wed-fri so far. This is the first time I have ever felt this motivated to make changes in my life for the better so I guess it must be my time to get fit =)
I look forward to interacting with others that are getting healthy here and maybe make a few new friends in the process.

PS. How does one get ahold of those cute weight loss tracker bars on the bottom of their posts?
