Hi folks!
I was browsing the net for weight loss support and found this site. It seemed so inspiring that I had to join!
I just started my my new healthy life last Sunday (9-22-08) and I am looking forward to everything that comes with it. I am 44, mom of 3, divorced, 5'11" tall and a whopping 340lbs ( Last Sunday I was 346! Not bad for my first week, huh? I;ve been logging my food intake and activity faithfully on thedailyplate.com (a great site btw) and it seems to help a lot. I started working out this week as well mon-wed-fri so far. This is the first time I have ever felt this motivated to make changes in my life for the better so I guess it must be my time to get fit =) I look forward to interacting with others that are getting healthy here and maybe make a few new friends in the process. Thanks for listening and good luck to everyone ! PS. How does one get ahold of those cute weight loss tracker bars on the bottom of their posts? |
sweetfelinity--Welcome.. this site is definitely a great place to visit .. there are plenty of people here who are inspirational.. and always leave me with the feeling of .. if they can do it then so can I!
I am also a newbie.. to get the ticker you must wait 20 days and have at least 20 posts.:D |
I found the spot that you can pick the colors and such so I guess i just need to post more =) thanks for the info and the welcome!
