So I posted a little intro in another thread somewhere, but I realized too late that this is where I should probably put it so I'm kind of doing it again
I'm about to be a senior in college and am working on losing the 20-30 lbs college has brought on. In high school I was so active I could eat whatever I wanted and burn it off with sports (and yet I somehow thought I was a bit chunky at 120-130

. . .isn't it amazing how skewed our body image can be??) but now I guess the elliptical is going to have to be my new best friend even tho it's a snoozefest compared to social interaction and competition on a soccer field/volleyball court/track team
I've been calorie counting and journaling for the last couple of weeks, as well as trying to force myself to go to the gym as much as possible. It's very difficult to keep up the motivation to go though, especially considering my school's short summer gym hours don't exactly fit into my "I need a nap after work and then want to stay up late" schedule.
I'm down about 4 lbs and am hoping to be in the mid to low 130s before classes start on August 25. . .keep your fingers crossed for me
