I have struggled with my weight for years. At my heaviest, I weighed 235 pounds. I managed to lose weight and stayed at 215 for years. It seemed that my body was simply unwilling to lose any more. Recently, via the slow and steady method (about a pound a week) I managed to lose another 10. I am still very far from my goal of 155 pounds, but weight doesn't seem to want to come back. In the past, if I went off of my diet for a week, I gained quite a bit of weight. Now, I can have a bad couple of days and none of it returns. I am hoping that this community can give me some new ideas and encouragement on my journey.
