I'm on my way!
I have struggled with my weight for years. At my heaviest, I weighed 235 pounds. I managed to lose weight and stayed at 215 for years. It seemed that my body was simply unwilling to lose any more. Recently, via the slow and steady method (about a pound a week) I managed to lose another 10. I am still very far from my goal of 155 pounds, but weight doesn't seem to want to come back. In the past, if I went off of my diet for a week, I gained quite a bit of weight. Now, I can have a bad couple of days and none of it returns. I am hoping that this community can give me some new ideas and encouragement on my journey. :carrot:

Hi and welcome! What have you been doing to lose the weight that you already have lost? Sometimes all it takes it changing up your meals a little - eating six small meals instead of three large ones, or eating more protein in the morning to get you going and keep you full longer. Sometimes you need to add in some exercise to jump start your loss again. There are so many factors! I've even heard some people say that if they eat too much wheat their weight loss stalls.
Let us know more info and we'll see if we can get you some good tips. Kara |
