Skarloey!
Thanks for coming in!
When I was at my heaviest, I felt the same way as you did. I would rather have DIED than to set foot in a gym with all the skinnies. So I bought Billy Blank's tae bo, and it worked like a charm. I felt like a big fat, clumsy idiot at first, but once I got the hang of it, and the weight started coming off, I was hooked, and got better and better at it.
Eventually, I lost enough weight to have the nerve to set foot in the gym (in spandex!! OMG!
) You can either try my
-wardly approach, and make a dent in your fitness in the privacy of your home, or you can just brave it and try the gym. One thing I can tell you thought, is that unless you attend a gym with a bunch of kids in it, NO ONE will laugh or make fun of you. Actually, quite the opposite. You will get lots of help and support along the way, just like you will here.
Just wanted to give you a welcome and my 2 cents, for what it's worth.
