  • Hi All! Just back from my 3rd weigh in appointment and I'm down 5 lb this week. Today is day 20 and I'm not sure what it was, but I felt like I was not losing anything this past week. Didn't feel hungry really, didn't feel fat or bloated, I just had it in my head that I was going to be the same weight as last week. (I even had started making up 'excuses' in my head!) I've not been eating my veg at lunch and I think that was why I felt it was NOT going to be a good weigh in.

    All in all, I've lost 17 lbs total and like 8 inches, so I'm very happy. Determined to keep it up. My coach is great; I've texted her a few times and she always answers, which I never expected.

    ALSO passed the big hurdle of the first birthday cake @ work since I've been on IP; was not even tempted in the least. I made an iced coffee with splenda and skim milk and joined in the party!

    I am doing my ordering from Nashua this am, I am ordering soups. What are your favorites and how do you prepare them with veggies? I got to the point last week where, "yuk" came up, so to change it up a little, I am asking what you are doing with lunch times. Thannks
  • I'm doing Alternative Diabetic Athletic plan for my reboot. Goin' quite well, next weigh + measure is Tues. By last weigh in I had dropped about 3 or 4 lbs but over 9 inches. Uniform pants are getting loose again. Just in time for me to be able to slip a pair of longjohns underneath for winter patrols.
    If it works for you, you could make an egg & potato salad with chopped celery and pickles in it, mustard, and mayo for the fat.
    I'm just loving a huge salad with chicken breast chunks and Bleu cheese in it for lunch these days. I still like the cheddar broccoli soup for a packet lunch. If you use slightly less water you can make a cheesy sauce for a mix of roasted or steamed cauliflower & broccoli.

    Can't wait for potatoes!! soon! less water in my soups do work. I just need to try different soups. I ordered a few different last night. I will be phasing off in November, I am hoping to be at 90 % to do so, my goal on the profile is 140 but, I would like to shoot for 135. That's the ultimate goal for me. Have a good week!
  • No weight lost today (although yesterday I weighed the lowest in about a year & half, 136.6) but 1.75 inches more lost. Why is it the lowest weight of the week is never on weigh-in day?

    WooHoo, Bayougal! Passing the cake test is huge! Nice losses, betcha feel awesome and powerful while sipping your iced coffee!

    Okay gang, as much as I hate it, to be on Facebook. Somebody has posted on one of the threads here I'll find it if you need it on the alternative Ideal Protein, these guys and gals post pretty much all day long on recipes with their struggling with extra places to order food which I didn't know about some of that these places that actually have IP food. anyway so just letting you know that I'm getting a lot from it it's been very slow here and I really need support cuz I'm struggling this last couple weeks so if you're interested I will show you the link.😋😋😋😋

    Lol, skinnyjeangirl, I get it. I've already 'liked' the site quite a while ago but got pretty tired of the endless photos of random packets with the question 'can I have this?'. Problem with Facebook is actually following a conversation when it drops back from all the other posts coming up. Meh! But do what you need to do! Come back and visit once in a while though, hahaha

    I will not leave 3fatchicks. This place is where I started when I began in 2013ish. I see that people are posting questions and some are good. I am glad its a closed group so that no one on " my actual page" cant see my business. Some things I found out though on this page was other places to order my packets that are about 50 to .75 cents cheaper. However, the dreaded shippin is about the same. Anyhoo, I will give it 30 days! lol see how it goes. See you on the boards here though! I am getting closer to my second goal though!
  • Where did my ticker go? Help! I love to see it go down and today I logged on and changed my weight. (Another couple of pounds down - Hooray!) but my ticker disappeared? Has anyone else had this happen?

    OK - in case anyone is interested. I did some research on 3fc and they have updated the software. The 3fc tickers are not showing up, but those from the Ticker Factory are. So I just created a new one for now. Enjoy

    It just makes be happy to see the graphic when it moves to the right. I like it.

    I found two more pairs of re-fitting jeans today - I have too many clothes lol. 20 pr jeans (not counting crops/capris).

    I wondered what happened to my hedgehog ticker but read that question on the main 3FC stickies too, joysh. Had to redo mine too but it doesn't show up on my tablet version anyhow - just on my desktop.

    Hello!

    Fall has definitely set in! I love fall. I am nearing a goal, hopefully, will reach it by Sunday. I weigh every dang day! My progress has been slow, but I realized that it was better this time for me. Kept me in check! I kept seeing clothing changes and pictures. 186.5 to now 150. My goal was originally 135, but changed it to 140 and see where it goes from there. So I have 10 pounds to lose! I am going to phase off correctly so my body doesn't go through any challenges and start to gain back. As I am getting older its more important to be healthy to worry about fitting into some sexy dress or pants. I notice that I am aching in places that I have never ached before. So it's important that I take this seriously. Here is to a good eating weekend. And a food for thought, what is your reasoning for losing weight? hugs to you all

    It has been a slow month! dang. But, I am ok with it. It is probably because I am near a goal..lol Anyhoo - How ya'll doing? been kinda quiet. What is a good victory lately? even if it is a slight change in your clothes!! wooo hooo
  • No changes for the past couple weeks. But there are two main reasons. I have been eating off plan. Not horribly but definitely at maintenance levels and with some maintenance treat foods every few days. 2) I only have 4 or 5 lbs to go and have been dealing with stress from elderly parents' health and some pretty bad pain from my Fibromyalgia (stress, lack of sleep, worsening storm weather).
    Sigh....
    I'll get there. Only 5 weeks before a 3 week tropical trip and I want to wear my newest swimsuits comfortably.
