Would like to become "friends" to follow progress. Not sure how to do so other than starting a thread. New here, open to suggestions

I started Tuesday!

I like the food so far just not a fan of the Broccoli soup at all - had to switch it for something else! I am excited to see recipes for dinner as right now they are very boring.

Good luck everyone!

Week 1 weigh in: -10 pounds!

This second week seems harder though. Am always hungry.

Working through the foods I like (Vanilla Crisp Square) and don't (Sea Salt and Vinegar Crisps).

I will be receiving the Precision Xtra Blood Ketone testing kit and strips on Monday. I will be testing every other day to begin with I think. Has anyone else done blood tests for ketosis? How frequently?

Hi there...I started IP a month ago tomorrow. I'm glad I found this site. This is my first post. I've found the comments, guidance and discussion very helpful. The protocol is going well and I've settled into a routine that has worked for me. I've tried a few different IP foods items, but I've only found a few that I like. Chocolate Drink, Cappuccino drink and the chocolate coconut bar. What other IP foods have you all tried and liked?

Tastes change over the course of the diet, lol. In contrast to wedgirl, the Broccoli Cheese soup was my favorite (I had it every morning for breakfast - dieted over a winter). I also liked the Peach Mango drink (NOT premade) and the Wildberry yogourt drink. I had to be totally gluten free, so quite a few packets were not available to me. I also liked the Dark Chocolate pudding but only if I tweaked it with lots of cinnamon or chili powder or sea salt crystals. The Potato Puree came in useful a couple times for a 'traditional' holiday sort of dinner.

Question nervous/excited

Hello, i am starting IP tomorrow and i have to admit i am really nervous of failing, i work out 3 times a week and its peace of mind for me to do it, so i really don't want to leave it, i hope i can keep the diet, it is really hard for me since my boyfriend is really skinny and all he does is eat junk food 24/7. how did you guys manage to not give up and stay on track?? THANKS!

Strongly suggest you read "https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CVV2AE/The Art & Science of Low Carb Living"

Helps you understand the deep science behind and impact in the beginning on energy levels, physical endurance, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion on the book. I just ordered it. I've been following the protocol, but I haven't been seeing results over the past couple weeks. My coach suggested that I journal and watch my eating times. I'm looking forward to additional insight the book can provide.
