8 oz. measured raw for protein.

Woot woot! Weigh in today and this girl is 199! Goodbye 200's!

Taking my kids to the trampoline park tomorrow. Always a fun and good workout bouncing after them. And omg you never realized how bad you have to pee until you start jumping on a trampoline!! Lol

Tomorrow is also my MIL birthday. They are ordering in KFC. UGH. I'll be the one peeling everything off the chicken and bringing my own veggies.

McLennan - some people feel weird for three weeks. Are you getting your water in? I found that I started feeling nauseous when my body needed more water. Try it and it might help.

Rhonduz- so sorry that your coach is less than ideal :( my friend, who has been on for much longer than I, gave me some recipes using packets. I will try to post them this weekend.

Soluna- you are doing great! Just remember it takes your body some time to catch up and adjust. I slowed down as well and it was not fun! Your coach lets you have the raspberry chocolate? Mine said that was strictly for phases 3 and 4.

Berylx- good luck with your restart! I don't think I could stay OP on a vacation either.

Positraction- welcome! This is the easiest program I have been on. It is strict but once you get the hang of it it is super easy! Hope you have a good first week!

mclennan 03-25-2016 09:53 AM

Thank you. Yes I have increased my water and started on the ID Salt. That should help. Weighed in today - down 7lbs. I haven't lost 7 lbs in years. I am hoping for a size change in pants next week. :smug:

I am getting ready for work so I have to make this quick. As of my last weigh-in, I am down about 22 lbs. I am so happy with my progress right now. Although it isn't very obvious to me just looking in the mirror, I can tell when I get dressed. Almost all of my clothes are fitting me differently right now. Most of my shirts look horrible, and I am happy about it because I love seeing them hanging there all baggy!

Anyway, on to the bit that I really wanted to share! Over the past week I have had a handful of people who I don't see very often (maybe 1-2 times a month) comment on how much weight I have lost since the last time they have seen me. Just that little sentence is doing wonders for keeping me motivated! I have had other comments from people who know that I am dieting and I don't always take them seriously. I think that they just want to make me feel good. I think that they are looking for weight loss and are tricking themselves into seeing a difference. But these people didn't know and had no reason to approach me and discuss my weight at all.

I hope all of you have a great Easter! Hopefully we all resist the draw of the dreaded Easter candy!

taragettingthin 03-28-2016 07:53 AM

Sljumper Congrats! Sometimes, it's the NSV's that will really keep us motivated! :)

Pamela78 I'm also now in Onederland! Woot woot! Yay us!

I started on 3/21 and I did 'unofficial' weigh-in myself this morning butt naked, after bathroom, with empty stomach and I'm 198.8! Loss of 6.4 lbs. I dropped almost 5 pounds in the first three days so I wish I lost little more BUT clothes are fitting better and I haven't dropped that much weight in a week without gaining here and there...EVER! So I'm still excited. I went out to eat three times during the week, including Easter day... and did not cheat once yet. I have been creative with packets a lot.... I've made waffles, pies, cookies, muffins.. (my breakfast was cookies, today and tomorrow's snacks are muffins). I don't feel like I'm missing on anything at all... and this is definitely the easiest diet I've ever been on! :D
Happy Monday everyone!!

Hi, all!

I will say I am not too thrilled with my coach, but I only have 1 place out here that offers IP. So I stick with them. She pretty much refused to look at my spreadsheet tracking (when I switched from their journals) because she feels the process of writing it down is important. More so than me using something online. I am not interested in buying their journals, but decided I would write it down in a notebook. I was at no loss last week, and she feels I cheated somewhere in there because she won't look at my online stuff. I've learned that the week after TOM is like that for me, although she says that just doesn't happen. Whatever - I am the one who knows how my body works, and I always show the full loss 2 weeks after. I weighed this morning and I am down 6 lbs since last week, so... :)

I am probably about 15 lbs from my current goal. I know I'll be phasing off by the middle of June, so it's pretty doable. I may reevaluate (depending on how my goal clothing fits at that point) and phase back on in August or September. But I think I'd probably be doing it w/o the coach.

I hope everyone managed to eat well for Easter. Have a great week!

That sucks about your coach... Is she the only one at your local clinic?
I just switched clinics... They do things quite differently so it will take some getting used to for sure

Happy Tuesday!

How did everyone do over the holiday? I must of stuck my head in my kids Easter baskets at least twice just to inhale the smell of the Reese's cups. They are my favorite and truly thought about not getting them this year but you know what! I am better than that! So I just smelled them. What a weirdo I am. Whatever works right?? My MIL changed nothing about her menu so I ate a couple of slices of ham and called it a day. Made a plate full of veggies when I got home and honestly was not that hungry. Makes it hard when relatives are not on board with you but I dealt with it.

Bit of background about me. I have PCOS which is one of the lovely reasons why I have such a hard time losing weight. That and those damn Reese's cups! Lol. I have to go for an ultrasound tomorrow for a checkup and I'm all nervous which has kicked in my emotional eating gears. Making good choices but ugh it's amazing how easy those old habits just try to sneak back in. And I too lose weight right before TOM and then the next two weeks are usually nothing to write home about. Which is weird because you would think it would be opposite.

Mezmerelda- shame on your coach for saying you cheated! Every person is different and my coach has said that for some people their TOM does get effected by the diet. Congrats on the 6lbs!! So close you are!

Taragettingthin- onederland! I love it!! Great job on the eating out! What kind of stuff do you order?

Sljumper- Doesn't that feel fantastic being recognized for all your work! My parents face timed with me the other day and my dad mentioned he could see it in my face. My dad doesn't comment about such stuff so that made me feel good.

The kids have off from school this week here so I am off to play the 100th round of Sorry! It's better than that Pie face game we played over Easter though!!

Greyfaery 03-30-2016 10:15 AM

I successfully got through my first Easter eating no mini cadbury eggs. This is a first and I'm so proud of myself! Plus I am getting sooooo close to onederland. Can't wait!

Hi all! I am going to be having an initial phone meeting this afternoon with my local IP center. I am still not sure if this is the direction for me. (Starting weight is 192 , 5'2" and I would be happy with 150, but know 12/30 is "healthy"). I have a few questions for you current users - I truly appreciate your answers!
- My family eat healthy so this wont be a huge deviation ... however... I have 2 kiddos (7 and 5) how has this been for those with families? Money-wise?
- I want to give a lot of thought about what is after (yes i know "one day at a time") as I don't want to be so restricted on a diet and pay a good sum of money and then gain all the weight lost back (yes i am aware i need to change my life habits... I am good with that... but is this a maintainable lifestyle post phases?)
- has anyone looked/reviewed new Weight Watchers methods? Could i transition to that after i reach goal?
- I have some IBS and am lactose intolerant. I also am slightly afraid of the soy in the IP products (my MIL attributes her breast cancer to soy in similar fashion products). Will there be any options for me on IP?

Thank you for all your insight.

Coaches are weird. My normal coach wasn't in yesterday, so I saw one of the assistants and it went well. Down 4 lbs, so that loss from last week showed up this week. :)

I am so close to breaking into the 150s...maybe next week? I haven't been this "small" for at least 5 years. I'm still thinking I can drop 15 lbs by the time I phase off, and will phase back on late summer. We'll have to see how that suit fits..

We were with friends for the easter weekend. Lots of food and drink, but I stuck to my plan completely, with the possible exception of maybe 1oz more protein 1 night. It was tough, but I am committed and don't want to mess this up now!

Positraction 03-31-2016 03:49 PM

Well, I wasn't able to start up this week like I had planned. Had to stay in the hospital for a few days for some heart issues, and my doctor won't let me start IP for at least a month while they wait and see if my new meds are working well. I have managed to lose 2 more lbs on my own for a total of 13 down, so I'll keep plugging away at it until I can get on the program. :)

Neriss 03-31-2016 09:07 PM

After gaining .2lbs last weigh in I was so relieved to see that I had lost 7.4lbs this time! I'm so happy with the results I am seeing. I'm receiving so many compliments on my outfits and general appearance now. I'm so happy everyone else is also losing. no matter how big or small the loss is; It's still a loss :)

Sorry to hear this and healing thoughts to you as you recover.

Neriss / Mez - :broc: awesome losses !!!!!
Generally I've seen this as the normal pattern after about a month OP - one week down, one week, not-so-much - usually inches though.

Congrats Neriss. I long to see more than a two lb loss per week.

Any tips for what happened in your 7.4 lb loss week. More water, exercise?, avoiding certain packets or vegis? Just looking for ideas to get over that two lb per week. Thx
