Thanks for bumping up the Challenge. I know that there are just a few weeks left in the Challenge but it is a great way for me to get motivated in losing weight.

Thank you, ladies! At church this past Sunday, one lady asked if I'd lost a little weight. I just smiled and said "Yes; a few pounds." All the while I'm thinking..."Yeah...nearly a hundred pounds! and you are just noticing a difference?"

She also said I had a glow about me. That made up for not noticing the big weight loss.

Unhappy

Today's weighin was a tad disappointing. I lost 1 lb. which is not reaching my goal of 2-3 lbs a week. Sigh. I know. I know, ...I should be grateful for the one pound but the road seems so long and tiring at times. I'm bummed out missing summer fruits. I mean, it was easy demonizing cookies, cake, candy, etc. but fruit has always been promoted as extremely healthy. I understand the sugar issue but I guess I'm so dang bored! Anyway, I'm struggling with weird issues right now. I've lost 27 pounds but I don't really believe it in my head for some reason. When I get on the scale and it marks a loss...I just don't believe it for some reason, like it's happening to someone else. Maybe when I reach a 30 lb. loss I'll feel it more but right now it feels like limbo.

I love the glow comment too...more compliments

Gigg - You are doing amazing! Congrats on the -1! You are what? About 10 weeks in and still regularly registering 2 - 3 #'s a week? That really is good - most people see the week 3/4 slump and for many ladies, TOM throws us curve balls every couple weeks
