So, next time you are tempted to eat that treat instead of having a glass of water or a salad of your freely allowed items .... stop and consider whether you want to be storing fat or burning it.

I know you Marchies can do this. If I can get to almost 100lbs down, anyone can.
LOVE THIS! Thank yoU!
I cannot believe I am at week 6 let alone that I am down 21 pounds! Last time my husband went about 8 weeks and I only lasted 2, I just couldn't do it. My mind must be better off this time!

Hi fellow March Starters! It's so nice to read about the weight loss success stories you've shared, whether it's 1 lb or 10 lbs.

And Dickinsp, I hope your next weigh in puts a smile on your face. You are doing great!

It's hard to believe we've been on this diet for over one month. I'm just taking it one day at a time and one pound at a time. I try not to think how much farther I have to go, rather I just focus on staying on the diet for the present moment.

Hang in there and I'm rooting for all of you!!

Hi all - I am still here with you all - I started March 10 and have lost 17 lbs so far! We have a Vegas trip planned the 8th - 12th and I'm hoping to hit 20 before then - I am going to try my best to stay on plan during that time. I love my coach and am so happy with how it is going so far. I have found a fantastic group on Facebook with tons of recipes that is really helping me. Janeva's Ideal Recipes Cookbook - if you are on FB check it out. It's saving me at this point!

Asmuir,

How wonderful!! Congrats on the great WI and hitting the 25 pound milestone!

My WI didn't go so well...only .5 lbs lost, boo hoo. I did lose inches, 1.25 if I remember correctly.

My coach and I reviewed my food journal to see if I could make any improvements. I am doing several things wrong: 1) I hardly ever eat an IP snack, 2) I had skipped cooking my veggies with evoo recently because I was steaming them. So I need to add evoo back into my diet, and 3) my meals need to be consumed on a better schedule. (Late dinners caused me to skip the snack I ate in the evening).

Lesson learned. I will change to make sure I make changes/improvements. My coach said I may have put my body into a 'starvation mode' and therefore, didn't lose weight. I have also been more active due to gardening. I only want to be on Phase I for three months so I need to step it up!

Oh, and tmi warning: I am also constipated. I just want to know: where in the heck are all those vegetables/fiber in my body???? What goes in, must come out, right??? Yet somehow it isn't....

Despite those negatives, I'm hanging in there! I've always been a slow weight loser and, drats, it continues on IP!

You may need a little more magnesium compared to calcium. Calcium will help 'bind you up', magnesium helps soften and loosen the stools . Even a TBSP of Milk of Magnesia can help once in a while, taken in the evening for an overnight (or at least next day) relief. I take extra Magnesium Citrate, but I mainly need it for my Fibromyalgia. It helps with the other, anyhow.

My coach also recommended Senolax a natural vegetable laxative and it has worked for me. I keep having the same issues, but it does seem to help!!!
I get measured tonight. Hoping for some inches since I only lost 1/2" last week!!!

Magnesium powder is incredible for dealing with constipation. Mixed with off-boiling water it goes to a clear, very vaguely lemony tasting liquid. Mixed with cold water it's a fizzy lemony drink.

On the day before WI, I drop a rounded teaspoon into a quarter cup of water and I always have a nice pipe clearing event the next morning. No nasty gripping pains or gassiness, the way I used to suffer with laxatives.

I second Amanda on this - Natural Calm is awesome! Beats Smooth Move and Senna by a country mile

So good to see all of us "Marchers" losing weight and inches. We can do this.
