Also I would like to say thanks to everyone for the support yesterday! I didn't check the posts after mine until today because yesterday was so hectic! I lost 1 lb and 6" at my weigh in so I think that's a pretty darn good win.
That's fantastic!

Then home to start my holiday baking. Need to make my cheesecakes and cookies as well as my gravy (sauce) for the ravioli on Christmas day... Of course all the stuff I won't be eating....i will be skipping courses 1 & 2 and I will eat the pork roast and roasted cauliflower that I am making for the main course....then of course I am saving my brownie for dessert. Christmas Eve is just the 3 of us this year so I have ordered from the seafood place our 7 fishes....that will be easy to be on plan since I can have everything that i bought....
Fingers and toes crossed for you!

I am sick, thanks to my son sharing his germs with me, so I'm making some chicken soup for supper and trying to rest. Thankfully I'm not hosting Christmas this year or I'd be going crazy.

My niece is making roast beef for Christmas dinner so I'll bring some mashed cauliflower and a bar for dessert and dinner will be taken care of.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Congratulations on all the great weigh ins, NSV and staying on plan through the holidays!!!! Thank you for all your inspiration!!!!

Today had a good WI, down 1.4 pounds. Just 1.6 to lose to get to the 50 pounds lost mark. I'm hoping that will be next week.

Also, an NSV---had my teeth cleaned about six months ago four days before starting IP. I had them cleaned again today and there was noticably less tartar on my teeth due to not eating so many carbs!!! The hygienist and I had a chat about it, and how carbs are what stick to teeth.

Everyone, I hope you have a fantastic, enjoyable on plan holiday!

Congrats Kelly! I've watched your scale going down and down ever since I joined, and I definitely want to follow your excellent lead.

The victories along the way sure help!
Congrats, big achievement to simply be overweight. Keep up the great work, DD.

Next week for sure, murrcat. Probably early this week, but not counted til then.

My dentist said protein can often cause caries (cavities) more so than carbs, because it is more sticky and harder to clean off the backs of teeth. Make sure you floss then brush to remove the residue. If you leave the shaker in the sink for 10 mins before washing it, you'll know what I mean about the residue.

Merry Christmas Eve! Working today But at least will have the next 4 days off.

Had a near cheat last night with some holiday cookies my kids had been on me to make. They totally tested my willpower. I literally had to go hide in a hot bath to get away from them. It was everything I could do not to cram my face. Whew, not doing that again.

What was interesting was I had received a Christmas card from someone I'd had a falling out with a few years ago and haven't spoken to in quite some time. It was a nice card but I was totally perplexed why she would be reaching out to me now.

Anyway, as I was climbing into my tub last night to hide from the cookies I had an epiphany! My therapist popped into my mind saying how I stuff my emotions down with food....holy crap! The urge to not eat that junk was SO strong. It wasn't about the cookies, it was about the upsetting emotion I'd had hours earlier. Thankfully, my revelation changed my craving just like that. Instead of obsessing about what was going on in the kitchen, I was able to enjoy my small victory over food!!

Going to be a trying next couple of days food wise but we can do it!! Stick with it IP peeps!!

CenTXChk good job flexing that willpower muscle!! Congrats on the epiphany too! I bet that understanding the root cause of the crazy cravings is making this journey possible for you. Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, I'm also working today! I don't mind though - it keeps me far away from the goodies and I accomplish SO much at the office!

I hope everyone has a great holiday break and stays OP! We're in this together!

Morning girls and lurking guys, lol.
I am also working, overnight on patrol and hoping for good weather and no alarm callouts. I'd like a quiet night as I'm feeling a bit stressed these past few days with accompanying rebellious food choices at 2 or 3 in the morning. I do feel a little better and more in control today, so I'm planning a good P1 day to help get me away from my scream weight.
The fact that I'm really not feeling very hungry today (after wine and chocolate cream cheese last night) will help.

Is that snow falling... or willpower dust? LOL. Wishing you all strength.

Since the daily chat has been so quiet during this holiday season, I removed the date so it could be used a bit longer. Merry Christmas Eve & carry on!

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, Joyeux Noel or Seasons Greetings. May your day be filled with love, laughter and eating the IP compliant stuff.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Hanging in there! Y'all are great inspiration!

Going to my sister's tomorrow. She doesn't know I'm doing this. She's a critical person so who knows what she will say. Bringing the dressing, divinity, apple pie, and roasted veggies (the veggies are for me). Her husband is doing rib eyes. My sister doesn't cook......well, she makes this cherry jello thing which I will avoid. It will be good to visit with family. Taking a shake and chocolate wafers. May also take my Sugar Plum Fairy tea.
