Sorry, I was super busy yesterday & today us shaping up for same

Is your ticker right? If so, you're smaller now. Might not have that initial whoosh of your first 1st week. Also, STAY OFF THE SCALE if it stresses you out. Weekly WIs are plenty while on P1 and become more frequent for phase off and maintenance. If the scale went down (at all) in 7 days, all is well!!

When you lost/lose 100 lbs what did/will you do to celebrate the goal?

Good morning everyone! Crazy week for me - work, school, a benefit gala tonight and then my wedding anniversary dinner tomorrow night. We have a tradition of having dinner at the restaurant where we had our rehearsal dinner - they're so good to us every year.

I plan on going back to P1 on Saturday. P2 has been a bust for me. By the scale I haven't lost an ounce, but I FEEL fatter. Like physically bigger. And bloated, or something. So I'm going to go back to P1, try to get to my goal, and go from there. Honestly, I'm totally lost right now on this diet. I've read all the threads, soaked up all your valuable words of wisdom, but I feel like I know nothing about food or how to eat - which is the total opposite of how I felt in P1 (confident, knowledgeable). I really think I need to either re-hire my health coach or find a clinic in my area with better coaches because right now I'm setting myself up for failure.

But I know if this was easy, they wouldn't call it "work" - keep on plugging on!

I took a trip to some consignment/thrift stores when I hit 100 lbs lost. Although, I do that even when I don't hit milestones! I figure it is a special, on-going reward for myself because otherwise I'd probably not want to spend any money since I am spending so much on IP.

This morning I thought I would share, since I need a little support (my family does not support me on this diet and I receive all my motivation from this forum).

I have been 100% OP for 31 days today (not one crumb has touched my lips that hasn't been allowed). Yesterday a monster inside of me wanted to eat and cheat. I have no idea where this monster came from, but I was able to resist and went to bed early. This morning I feel sick to my stomach, I hope I am not getting sick. I had my flu shot yesterday. I am hoping today goes smoother and is less monster-ish.

The first time I did IP I do not remember have troubles in W5 or higher. I only remember W1-2 were hard, then the rest was simpler after all my cravings were gone. Does anyone think this could be linked to my flu shot or getting sick?

All that worrying about the effect of dental lidocaine for nothing. Scales showed me down this morning. Could be that I flushed the anesthesia through with the 108 oz water I chugged down (and it was a struggle, I can tell you!).

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone.

It could be that, it could be TOM lurking around the corner, or it could just be your body resisting change. I have been SUPER hungry the last 2 days, then realized that it's just about time for TOM. Hormones wreak havoc on us!

I weighed all those options but there is nothing in the near future for my TOM. My friends coach (since mine is terrible) suggested it could be because I lost -25lbs in 30 days which is a very large amount and my body could be resisting. My friend's coach suggested maybe take a weekend and have a break (but eat healthy like in P4) then start back up on Monday. I am extremely conflicted as I don't know if I have the strength to get back to 100% OP if I have a "free" P4 weekend.

Sweetenuff- when I hit 100lbs I'd like to buy a new outfit. I'm thinking a pretty dress since I haven't worn one in years, maybe a nice pair of boots to wear with it?

Danibee- I have days like too. Not sure why, I know TOM gives me the hungries, but I've had them out of the blue too. I can tell you this, every time I have had one, I have a whoosh on the scale soon after!!! So hang in there, drink some hot tea and eat more unlimited veggies. And speaking of tea- o m g I bought some "sugar cookie" flavored tea and put a splash of RTD vanilla in it- it was soooo yummy!!!!! So hang in there , visit the forum when you're feeling weak. I'm like you I don't really have much support outside of here either. I'm very thankful for everyone here. I couldn't do it without y'all!!!!

Scorbett & KellyC thank you for your support. I am going to try and get through the day today and hopefully tomorrow is a better day. I am also going to call my friend's coach and have a talk (she was my previous coach when I did IP 4 years ago, before I moved 2 hours away). I don't know if a P4 weekend is the right choice for me, but I will brainstorm with her on the phone.

KellyC What brand of tea did you buy? That sounds amazing!

I have had those hungry days too over the course of the years and I cannot find a correlation to anything... I fight thru with tons of water and usually try more filling packets those days. Some days the shakes won't cut it and I need to have the chewing motion... Give that a try.
