I do too but more because it's crumbly, not because I was trying to stretch it out...

I take wafers apart. The three layers separate rather easily. I leave the bottom with all the chocolate for last.

This is exactly how I eat them too! And sometimes I slice the bars into thin slices and eat them one slice at a time. Family thinks I'm nuts.

Today, work brought in Italian food for lunch. I took a big wiff before running out the door. Italian is something I really miss!!
Just had my favorite "italian" dinner tonight. IP rotini topped with chopped meat or chicken, sautéed spinach, and just enough tomato sauce (the kind with just tomatoes, spices and olive oil) to cover - usually 1/2 cup. it's yummy, and takes the sting out of watching my family eat lasagna, baked ziti or chicken parm.

Big milestone reached for me today -- I am now halfway to goal! I finally made it to the light blue (50%) section on my weight loss ticker.

Amazing that I have melted away 68 pounds (and 10" off my waistline) in 5 months.

No worries, I think we're all slowing down but still losing so it's all the right direction. I figure I have at least 4-5 months to go on Phase 1. Slow and steady wins the race, right? We'll get there!
yes it does! Slow being the key lol....maybe slow of is a good omen for maintenance!

Ugh first week I had a +1 at WI....so aggravating! But I did not falter...actually lost 1.5 inches. Came home mad my lunch and moved on....but not before I had plenty of negative thoughts in my head! Ugh when will the self doubt end. I know I was on program, but to see that 1 up I was like ...damn I should have had that wine at the wedding lol....

All good I took yesterday to regroup.... I know I can do this.

Oh those thoughts!!
The Beck Diet Plan book has helped me with those. They are by no means gone but exercises in the book have helped quiet them a bit

That's the perfect attitude SGR. You will have weeks like that. I have found that at certain points the body seems to want to rest and regroup (and all weight loss stops) even tho you are still doing your same regimen. You just have to stick with it. In a week or two, things will take off again and you will start dropping weight.

This thread is SUCH an inspiration for me. Thank you to each and every one of you. I am only on Week 4 with IP and so far loving it and have lost 21lbs. I will be visiting very often for more inspiration!

So after my + 1 last week, I a down 3 this week lol.

Also 3 inch loss this week. I guess my body took a time out last week while it regrouped! So thrilled..

It has been 22 years since I have been under 200 and I am now sitting 13lbs away from that. To say I am anxious to get there is an understatement!
