oops! Thought I posted this a couple of hours ago. It didn't post!
Hi everyone! Welcome to the weekend

I'm headed to the gym and then home to pack/organize for our coast-to-coast trip. The car picks us up at 4 am tomorrow and we fly off to FL. Then on to CA to the Rose Bowl! I still can't believe we're doing this. I'm just glad I lost weight. I don't think I could have done the Rose Parade/game day before.

Good morning, and first day of (rainy?) winter!
Today I am throwing a surprise bridal shower for my best friend, we'll see how that turns out!
i'm so glad that sleep helps with so many things! I was in a rotten mood last night and I woke up renewed and refreshed this morning!

I hope you all have a blessed day!

Have fun Lisa!

Love the holidays and appreciate gifts but will never understand why people bake homemade cookies, candy, etc. then say "I know you've lost weight, but I made these for you. A few cookies won't hurt, enjoy."

Really?

I was so happy yesterday when someone gave me a Visa gift card when everyone else got cookies and said "You've worked so hard and look so great. Buy yourself something nice."

That was so thoughtful of her! I wish more people were like that.

Idealproteinnewbie- similar story for me, a colleague made everyone on my team hot chocolate and candy bags, she realized that she couldn't give one to me. Decided to get me a gift card for coffee, but forgot to get it. She came in to explain, and I said, don't worry about it. I appreciate that you knew not to give me one Happy that I did not get a gift, now that is a change!

Lisa, sounds like an exciting adventure!

Deanna, glad you woke up on the sunny side. Throwing showers can be stressful. I am sure that your BF will love every minute of it.

Yes, I've gotten so many bags of homemade goodies, I've lost count. All were promptly given to my receptionist!

Good morning!

Even people who know better have been giving me food gifts, some I think just because that's what they have always done. I just say "thank you, this will make a great dessert tonight." And it will, just not for me. The "munch monsters" I live with however are very happy!

Got a few last minute Christmas things to do but would really rather be packing to go someplace warm like Lisa!

Good morning all!! Had a great night sleep last night and woke up feeling nice and refreshed.

Was planning on doing some shopping today but not sure I want to go out anywhere. We had freezing rain all night. My poor dogs were skating around the backyard and I had to pour hot water on their leashes because they were frozen into the deck. It is pretty mild so maybe by noon the roads will be just wet and not icy.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Morning all, the weather has done a complete 180 here. Yesterday. It was 75 degrees! But there's a front of nasty storms right behind the warm air. Yuck!

Deanna you are so right about a good nights sleep. I had a very restful night and am feeling good this am. Today is my last day of work and Ghent I start my holiday vacation. I'll be spending the day tomorrow will my sweetie and then heading out tomorrow for tx. I'm spending 4 days in Tx with my grandparents, parents and daughter. I've never been to my families new beach house in Rockport so I'm excited.

Morning, heading to O'Hare this afternoon to pick up my daughter. Right now the temps are above freezing. Hope it holds. Down here the trees and grass are icing, but the roads are fine.

Good morning from foggy Colorado. It was supposed to burn off by 9, but that hasn't happened yet.

I finished my Christmas shopping on the way home from work last night. I am off work until 12/30. So this weekend I need to clean this house and wrap gifts. How can my motivation/willpower be so good for the diet and I'm having difficulty getting to work on chores?

Looking forward to staying OP thru the week - I weigh in on 12/26! Have a good weekend.
