That's sweet re: retiree.

I had my 3rd week WI on P4/maintenance yesterday. Down 1.4 pounds. Woot! It is due to the running, no doubt. Hope all are well.

Just did some calculations and I am 3.86 lbs away from being 2/3 of the way to goal!!! Holy moly! I am feeling "extra skinny" today, too. Surprising considering TOM is visiting.

BTW congrats on your WI!! I have no idea what the scale will tell in the AM.

I am sending my gram a nice soft blanket I got on Kohls cyber Monday sale- it is super soft and warm!! Plus I am adding more to the box and mailing it tomorrow

Hey I have a question for anyone who can help me

My gram gave my moron of a cousin POA and Executor of her estate a few years ago. She sold her house and is now in a nursing home. There is a HUGE concern that my cousin (grams "golden boy and fav.") could be spending her $$$. She has not seen a bank statement since her house was sold (it sold for $160K) , she has no idea how much she has, what bills are being paid nothing. I guess at thanksgiving at my aunt and uncles house the topic of grams financials came up ( I was not there) and cousin got really defensive and angry about the questions he was being asked. That threw up a huge red flag!!!

So now my dad and uncle and aunt are questioning cousins behavior and actions- after turkey day he removed dad and uncle as emergency medical contacts, off of everything, he tried to move gram from where she is to another home (he does not like the drive to see her a whopping 25 mins) and he will not show her once cancelled check or anything.

A little side note cousin has a long wrap sheet, DU, DWI and other crap. My dad and uncle want to request and audit of her account but they do not know how or where to request it. And yes my gram is sharp as a tack too!!

Any suggestions will help. Dad and uncle do not have a lot of $$$ to pay for this either

WTG Sarah! You got this. As always, I get tired just thinking of all you do! Running! Wow.

Right now I am sore all over! It is our heaviest delivery season and it is all hands on deck. I am black & blue from helping to load trucks, and I'm exhausted. I did not eat well yesterday, but it was a matter of catching a meal on the run for both lunch and dinner! Couldn't believe I am still at 128, so I know it is all the extra stress and physical labor I am not used to. From now until Christmas Eve it is more of the same for me. Sigh.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I haven't posted here much, but I read the boards daily for meal ideas and other helpful things y'all talk about. I had to jump in here though because I'm an estate planning attorney and thought I may be able to help you out a bit. One caveat, I'm licensed in Louisiana, so I don't know the laws of your state. I would highly advise contacting an attorney in your state to get the most accurate information. That being said, I'm not sure that your dad and uncle would have any standing to do anything here, particularly considering that your gram is still mentally competent. However, just because she gave your cousin power of attorney should not mean that she gave up any of her own rights. She should be able to contact any of her account holders and get any information she wants without having to ask your cousin first. Also, assuming she is mentally competent, she should be able to revoke the power of attorney any time she wants, get all of her information back from your cousin, and then appoint someone trustworthy to be POA.

I've had that attitude from the beginning
I don't eat IP bars. I make sure I use savory, rather than so many sweet items. I don't want my brain to be used to "life as dessert"

I make potato purée zucchini muffins and mix potato purée with caulimash frequently (many savory items have soy and I restrict soy)

The food I have used is the chocolate chip sweet roll, which is very comparable to IP. Could using a different food cause this? I asked my coach & obviously he said not to eat other foods.
The body actually get more efficient at burning ketones and then you have fewer in urine. This could have happened simultaneously with switch to alt food. There is no magic in IP food. Extra bar, on the other hand, could have an effect, esp if you are über carb sensitive.
I haven't looked up the chocolate chip sweet roll. Is that restricted?

Awesome that you are so low!!! I am sorry, however, that you are bruised up. Hopefully you can get warm baths w/ epsom salts (assuming the skin is not broken) and some arnica afterwards! As for running, you should've seen the "angry run" I did the other night. It was A.N.G.R.Y. and fast.

Be well and take care!

I absolutely must get in to my eye glass dispenser and get my glasses adjusted. Who knew my head was so fat! With the weight loss, my glasses are now falling off my face! Is that an NSV?

Katie wore her retainer last night. And had it in this am when I took her to school so she's putting in some effort. I think the threat of the braces going back on was enough. She had some drama with the pain of the braces and a poor assistant tearing up her mouth once. This poor girl was so bad Katie had to stop her go out into he office common area and tell the desk assistant to find the dr or she was walking out. Mind you the whole time she was in tears and crawled into my lap like a baby. (At our dentist they don't allow parents back until the appt is over)

Anyway hope everyone has a good ON PLAN day. Stay warm!
Good to hear she's wearing that retainer! Sorry about the bad experience with the assistant Some states in the US don't require their assistants to have formal training/certifications/registration. They can just hire anyone off the street and train them to do what I had to go to school for. It's a tragedy!

Way to go Sarita! I wish I liked to run. Just don't like it. I have run a marathon - but I'm stubborn about finishing more so than motivated to run. You are inspiring me for phasing.

Ugh, sorry that December is a pain...literally and physically. December is crazy busy for me too. Oh the irony ...when we are all ready to slow down and stay inside by a fire. My busy isn't too physical - just a lot of long hours, less sleep, too much time at a computer. It means I have to plan and push through (cooking dinner at 10 pm. Ack. Fast food would have been so much easier) and focus.

Hope your work gets better soon.

Thank goodness it is Thursday.
