My profession is sales. I am constantly exposed to happy hours, fine wine and the best restaurants. For the last 3 weeks, I have avoided every single food/alcohol related event because I didn't want to deal with temptation until I had the confidence I could say "no" and mean it. When I first started reading this blog, I wondered how many people on here cheated, or were tempted and how they dealt with it. I wonder how many people just quit the diet because they think there is no going back once they fall off the wagon?

There is a post about being mostly cheat free. I can't even read it. If I do it will just give me an excuse to cheat. I just can't. I've got a friend who is doing this as well, and she drinks pop and she eats cheese. I cant' do those things.

My decision to go for IP came after I broke a small bone in my left foot. The bone acts as a pulley for the tendons. I was in a lot of pain and my blood pressure was triple digits top and bottom. Really scared me. Not willing to stroke out over a small bone. I decided that the weight had to go.

I was tempted to cheat today :( I had a warmed choc. drink for breakfast at 8 and headed to town to do some shopping. It was 1 before I got back. I was starving!! My kids wanted to go to the food court but I knew I would be tempted there. So, instead, I stopped into my coaches place and picked up some Mt. Olive Butter Pickles (sugar free, calorie free) and munched on them till I got home lol they were good!! But I am very proud of myself, if this was any of the other times I tried to restart I would of caved. But seeing the scale go down every morning is motivating me to keep going 100% OP.

Glad to see everyone is doing well and avoiding those cheats! Keep it up! I had my third weigh in this morning. Lost another 4 lbs and 2.5 inches! Pretty exciting to say the least. Now I just have to make it through next week without indulging that sweet tooth! :devil:

Why does food have to be so tempting and hard to stay away from!??! Everything I feel like this, I have a little more understanding for Addicts, after all we are addicts (or at least I am) for food. Glad for my will power today and for all you lovely ladies!! Checking this website frequently got me thru today. Hoping for a much better day tomorrow....2 Halloween parties with the kiddies....wish me luck....
