Well golly...can I too? I am doing a mash up of probably 4-5 diets, as per my doctor. Heck, I dunno WHAT I am doing anymore, I just nod my head and agree and hopefully watch the scale trickle down...sometimes it is insanely fast, sometimes it is insanely slow. I DO know his model is based loosely on the IP model though.

My WI is on Fridays so I adjusted my starting number to match last Friday's start. I'm planning on going past my official goal weight until I decide where I want to stop. Looking forward to this coming Friday to see how this first week loss turns out with vacation going on this week

I didn't say they couldn't join. Just wanted to make sure we stay on IP topic. Reporting weight-only is diet neutral

Its just that all diets are very specific to what you can and cannot have. non IP food talk could confuse a newbie. well, and some of us vets!

Whew! Okay, I'm still in then. I completely understand wanting to keep the nutrition talk IP specific. I'm doing Medifast and our boards are REALLY quiet - seriously, you can hear the crickets chirp over there. From the research I've done, while IP and MF are different, they're the closest thing to each other out there, so I sometimes hang out on the IP boards for more interaction.

The only reason I'm doing MF over IP is that the MF clinic is 4 miles from my house and the IP is over 20. Maybe not th BEST reason to choose a nutrition plan, but I figured I wanted to give myself the best shot at success and would be less likely to talk myself out of driving 4 miles for counseling than 20
