I stayed OP through 2 rounds of colds/ick, maybe a little less than 3 weeks. They were slow weight loss weeks for me, but I just happened to be at what has been a plateau weight for me while this it was going on, so your mileage may vary. Drinking the liquids and eating the protein is very good for your body, especially if you do hot things like heated drinks and soups. So, you do not HAVE to go off program if you don't want to, but of course listen to your doctor if you are sick enough to go see one. I hope you feel better soon!
