My friend at work who has been on it for 6 weeks runs 2-3 miles a day. My coach told me no to do anything but walk. Her coach told her that it was fine for her to run (Not sure if she knows she is running that much) but my friend only is losing .5-1 lb a week.
I keep telling her she needs to stop running or talk to her coach about her intake but for some reason she is nervous about talking to her coach.... and she has so much energy she needs to run.
Google searches usually work better than the thread or forum search. I entered "3 fat chicks IP Alexa1921" in Google to find it. It's almost at the bottom of the page.
I dont see any thread that is from 11/12 at 10:48AM. I also I search forums for any thread or post by Alexa1921 and nothing pops up.
Is this something in the ideal protein forum? Appreciate any more guidance you can offer to help me find that posting.
Thanks

I've heard that eating too much lettuce actually causes your stomach to cramp. One of my former co-workers, who didn't do this diet, who just likes to eat salad, would have a salad everyday but get really bad cramps. I'm not sure what exactly in the lettuce causes it, but I've heard that that's what it does, so I try to eat salad only 3 times a week. Except this week, I've salad everyday so far...so...
I'm also a newbie so I have a question as well. Does anybody drink the cappuccino drinks? I have a box of them and when I heat it up, the foam top forms some sort of hard stuff. I know I'm mixing it right in the shaker and heating it up for about a minute.
I don't have this problem with any of the other foods, but I can't even eat my snack at the end of the day because of the hard stuff that forms. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks!

I've never run into that, but I don't usually heat up the capuccino - I mix it in the shaker with about 5oz water and then I combine it with a cup of super hot coffee. That warms it up and makes it more like a Starbucks IMHO

I have done this!
Don't heat for one minute straight, do 30 seconds take out, stir and then another 30 seconds... when the foam gets hard it pretty much means you have overheated it

When I read that post before I didn't interpret it that the poster thought the infection was because of IP products. I thought she was just trying to figure out how to time the meds she had to take for it along with the IP supplements.
Thanks for finding it Lisa, I was trying to remeber exactly what the poster had said.

I heat mine for a minute and then another 30 seconds and have no problem with them. It sounds like your microwave is pretty powerful and you will have to do it for shorter periods as guil28 said.
Abdominal pain: I am glad you are seeing your Dr. It could be related to the constipation, but only your Doctor can give you the right advice, treatment.
Snacking: I work 2nd shift and drink and eat mostly after 2pm. I have never had a problem. I esp have problems when I come home at night so I look forward to that snack when I get home.
I just had a thought about IP, supplements and exercise. Is there a Nutritionist at your Drs office?? Maybe she can help as well. If there is, maybe call and make an appt to see her on Friday??
I have seen a nutritionist in the past and she's been familiar with different diets. Just a thought.
