I would love to hear how your bodies reacted to P3. P1 and P2 have been so easy. I worry about how I will feel when I am no longer in ketosis. (I am confident that my pancreas is ready to rumble!) I am VERY carb sensitive....this will be interesting.

Woo Hoo! I did LOVE having yogurt again for breakfast! Wait till you see how good some things taste and how you really don't want that many carbs anyway!

Congrats!!:carrot:

Mooslever, I did that last week too. I wanted to lose 3 pounds. It came off in just 3 days, so I went back on 4. I dont eat a lot of carbs. but I did miss my yogurt and fruit. But it sure did not take me long.

I hope it doesn't take me long either. We leave for Mexico in 3 weeks and want to be well under my goal before we leave ;)

Phase 3 is my favorite!!! I tend to eat phase 3 most days. I am carb sensative too. I have to stay away from any grain and some fruit.

Hi there, Mooselover! So did you NOT eat bread in P3? Were you able to tolerate the fruit?:dizzy:

I had steel cut oatmeal and whole wheat english muffins. The english muffins caused belly bloat and so did bananas. It took me a while to figure out what was causing the troubles. It wasn't until phase 4 that I decided what bothered me. I try new things slowly now. One new thing at a time to see what bothers me.

Although continuing to be dissatisfied with the scale, I got 2 beautiful dresses today from blue fly for our next gala. Both size 4. I think I'm happy for a bit! Love fancy clothes!

I hope that it is okay that I am lurking with your maintainers. I made goal today!!!! So two weeks of P3 and I will join you all!

Congrats NewPath! You look great!

I posted before & afters on IP's Facebook page. Grey pants, black sports bra. :D

We live in a gala kind of city. Not much else goes on...so those willing to pay have lots of fundraising dos to go to.

I would say we are both "middle" people. Definitely not the big wigs, but enough income to go to the fun events. And afford ip ;)

Mooselover. I had a great P3 day today...HOWEVER...I look 4 months pregnant! I feel thin...but , Oh my....big belly bloat, and my ankles are all swollen! I had one slice of high fiber wheat bread for breakfast. Please advise.

Congratulations Maile on being accepted to the registry! What a wonderful accomplishment and definately encourages me to keep working on maintaining my weight.

NewPath... congratulations on reaching your goal! It feels wonderful and I too lurked for a short while as I got closer to maintenance. It kept me pushing for that end point.

I reached my original goal in June, but have continued to go down about 8 lbs. I eat mainly P3 but do have an occasional fun day when the opportunity arises and I feel like I want whatever it is. I don't feel the need to make myself have fun days but I am adding some carbs in so I don't lose too much more. It is amazing how my pancreas is functioning so well and my metabolism seems to working so much faster than it use to. My husband has also lost some weight just cutting out the evening carbs and he says he feels wonderful. He has even got some people he works with to get onto IP by "bragging" about my weight loss. It makes me feel good to know my losing weight so successfully has encouraged others to try the program!

Lori: That is great about you inspiring others. I don't make myself have fun days either.

Newpath: Good to have you here. If you feel bloated try switching to oats instead of wheat bread. What did you have for breakfast? Try drinking lemon water..try eating berries for the fruit.

Mooselover, Delgen and Lizr: I like to be on the low end of my range also. The high end is just too close. Good luck on working it down.

Momto2cs: What fun to get elegant dresses in size 4 for galas. That is exciting..especially the size 4.

I filled out my form for the registry. It did take an hour. They wanted to know family background of addiction, specifically what meat you eat ..and then how you cook it;;grilled or fried. It was an always sometimes never format. There were many detailed questions about exercise..what machine..how many days..minutes.
The one question I thought was amusing was how many times you went up a flight of stairs per week,
Then it touched on emotional eating..Do you stop eating when full..do you
eat out of control.
Anyway..my husband does not understand why I want to do this. It because the data will inform us about maintenance and it further defines me as a maintainer.

Hi Maile,
I have been having 2 slices of 5 carb whole grain bread, 3 slices of bacon, one wedge of laughing cow cheese, and a cup of strawberries. I will get some oats...any suggestions? Thank you!
