It might help for other to save this to their downloads, open Excel by itself and use the "Open", navigate to their downloads and open the .doc file. Then do a save as afterwards. Windows 7 and > will give then a hard time changing the extension. I LOVE IT by the way! Are you enjoying your new breakfasts? I found it difficult to adjust at first and even now I find myself reverting to an IP packet if I'm feeling like it's too much. I do love my coconut flour pancakes though :D |

I'm really liking my new breakfasts. But, I am SO not a morning person. I'm waiting on the day when I burn myself. LOL That document I made really helps the planning process. Great to know there are other nerds out there. ;) |

I'm with you on the morning person!! I actually make my breakfast the night before. For the pancakes I make 2 servings, put a serving in a baggy and then heat them up when I get to the office. I simply CAN'T eat until I'm awake for at least an hour! I would definitely burn myself :D I can barely get the Keurig working at that time .... As a side thought - wouldn't it be cool to have a database with tables for each group of foods and then have a stored procedure or sql bring a combination together that's perfect???? Whew! Could we make the money!!! |

I actually started with MS Access, them moved over to Excel. A little backwards. I sold an excel document to an auditor for 100 bucks. She got 22 documents from 22 different offices and was going one by one and copy/pasting info into a 'master' document. I made it to where she just open that 'master', do a ctrl+m and it sucked in all that data. She loved it. LOL Anyway, I am at work, guess I need to get back to it. Hope you have a good one. :carrot: |

Ok..I am glad there are lots of you techs here. The spread sheet looks great.
Darbs:congrats on losing those pounds. That is much work and you have done it.' Healthyangle: w'hat is your coconut flour recipe for pancakes? |
Maile- thanks for that list! It was truly "right on" and made me feel good to know that I related to ALL of it.
Had a few days at P1 this week, tomorrow is WI. Should be back at goal, phew! Then I can get back to P3 breakfast ;) |
The Breakfast Worksheet looks great! I am glad to hear that my breakfast ideas are helpful, I put a lot of effort into trying to find the balance of ingredients that would work within Phase 3 guidelines.
I am also swamped in the mornings, I usually make a big double or triple batch of some items on Sun night to grab & go during the week. Lately I have been just doing 'custards' with no pie crusts. I have to confess, I have dipped in the candy bowl the past few days...nothing outrageous, but I still feel guilty. I have kept up with my running group - tomorrow doing 8 miles @ 5:30am! Gotta hit the sack, I have a weekend of work to look forward to, big meeting coming up next week....have a great night folks! |
Hi everyone,
I start ph 4 on Monday and I have some questions. I love my coaches - but I'd love some other thoughts too - 1. Do you eat soups and if so, what type/brand (in one of the hand outs I saw they recommend soup at the start of dinner to get you full but it seems that it's high in sodium if you buy soup) 2. How is phase 4 different from phase 3 or 2 for you personally? What do you do that makes it different? Thanks! |
Jenny..Thanks for posting that. I related to all of it. Woohoo on reaching your goal and back to P3 breakfasts!
Drake girl: I don't make soups very often...mainly stews like a taco chili stew. For 4 I really eat Phase 3 and then now and then add one half cup of beans or sweet potatoes to dinner. The rest is the same. Good luck! welcome to maintenance. |
Thank you Maile for sharing that. I felt like it would be nice for all to read. And I have to say, I completely agree with every single point, and I think it also applies to maintaining, especially the wanting it badly. I know I will do WHATEVER it takes at this point to make sure I never go back to where I was. EVER. This is a permanent change. And I love wearing a size 4 WAAAAAAYYYYYYY more than I could ever love any food. :)
My diligence this week paid off, lost the 2# I gained last week and then some. I am actually below goal (134.8- HA!) but it has been awhile since I have gone below. Now it is back to the P3 regimine during the week with some flexibility on the weekends. That is how I maintained before summer got her hands on me. |
