It's very clear the initial question on this post was asked in jest and a cheat wasn't imminent. Some folks were clearly too blunt with their responses. Tonality gets lost in the cyber world and it's just important to re-read posts before hitting "Submit Reply".

I'll be the first to admit I was wrong in castrating someone who clearly did cheat. I was also in p1 and sensitive to cheats when I was 100%. If I could redo my response to that person I would.

Constructive criticism can help some people respond better to others.

Just sayin'.

I ve been 100% OP, and 19 lbs lighter. And for those of you, I knew what my answer was already. I made sure I was going to be disciplined and stick to the program. I would have never imagined that with the sucess of losing nearly 20lbs in 2 weeks that I would cheat. But the thought of having a beer or two sounded good, and itstill does. Im not a drunk, i just like the taste! Whew...I feel better!

 Sometimes it just feels good to commiserate!! I get what you were saying. Congrats on the 19 lbs in two weeks, that's incredible!

I hear you NewEnglander. :)

And yes, you're right about tonality.

For example ... I guess I just don't get the OP's humor. It's not the first time they've written about wanting to cheat early in on the plan so ...

Oh dear....I hope I was not the one that was harsh on anyone! I merely shared my thoughts on how I do know about that desire to cheat. That desire is with me constantly and I know EXACTLY what he was talking about.

I want abita amber!

I am 26 and I live in New Orleans. EVERYTHING revolves around alcohol. Since I started the diet I was able to say no over and over and over again until one night I cracked. I had 2 draft abita ambers. There was no peer pressure or anything like that...I just got tired of being the one getting drunk off of water. I had a great time until about the middle of beer #2. I started getting really bad stomach cramps. The kind where all you want to do is get to that one position where it doesn't hurt and never move again. Soon after the cramps started, we all went home and I was able to find a comfortable position to sleep in....fast forward to the morning where I had the worst hangover I have ever had in my entire life. Remember, I am from New Orleans, so I have had my fair share of hangovers. This hangover made me miserable. The worst part about it was that it lasted 2 days! I can honestly say that I will not have another temptation to drink beer again. I learned that lesson the very hard way.

i had a beer at the end of my second week...didnt knock me out of ketosis and didn't slow my weight loss. I generally stay away from the restricted foods so i dont feel bad about having a beer (~8 carbs) once or twice a month. i commend everyone who stick to IP 100% but every once and while i need a treat!

You never know, it could happen! They have margarita flavored crystal lite so screwdriver flavored mio doesn't seem like such a stretch!! :D

AWESOME LOSS IN 2 WEEKS! And wow, what a tease with the enchiladas!!! I'm heading down to San Antonio to visit my folks this weekend, but even in Phase 4, I'll still probably stick closer to carne asada & grilled peppers, never was much of a rice & cheese nut anyways.

San antonio...come south about 3 hours and we cn make fajitas and enchiladas.
