I lived on IP Double Chocolate Bars and IP Chocolate Drinks. I also bought WFs Chocolate Syrup. Be sure to get some of these items in your home. I'm now in maintenance and don't have the luxury of having chocolate every day and it's a real struggle!!!

Can't you still have chocolate protein bars in maintenance?

Here's a collection of chocolate recipes I have.
Molly

IP Chocolate Cookies
2 oz water
1 packet sweetener
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 packages IP Chocolate Pancake Mix
1 Egg white
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
In a med bowl mix the water, egg white, sweetener, and vanilla. Add 2 packages Chocolate Pancake Mix and stir until well mixed.
Drop by rounded spoonful onto a cookie sheet. Makes 6 cookies (3 cookies per serving).
Bake about 15 minutes.

Mini Chocolate Cupcakes
1 packet Ideal Protein chocolate pancake mix
21/2-3 oz water
Small pinch of sea salt
Preheat oven to 350*
Mix ingredients very well and divide among 3 olive oil sprayed
mini muffin pans.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of
muffin comes out clean. Let cool slightly. Remove from pan and
split horizontally.
Vanilla Frosting
1 packet of Ideal Protein vanilla pudding
1/2 tsp almond extract
Small pinch sea salt
3 1/2-4 oz water
Mix all ingredients together very well forming a smooth frosting. Frost cooled cupcakes and top with the
stewed Rhubarb or with Walden Farms strawberry jam. Makes 6 cupcakes. ENJOY!

Brownies
1 packet chocolate drink
1 packet maple oatmeal
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
dash cinnamon
1 tbsp olive oil.
Directions:
Mix and bake in two small ramekins at 350F for 12 minutes. If you want them to be more moist, you can pull them one minute sooner. Makes 2 portions. Enjoy!

Shannons One-Bite Brownie - IP Style
2 egg whites
1 Pkg IP Pudding (any flavor)
1 tsp Vanilla (or your favorite Davinci Sugar-Free Syrup)
2 oz water
Directions:
Mix egg whites, vanilla & water in blender - pour into bowl. Fold in IP pudding packet. Pour into sprayed mini-muffin tin and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. (For regular-sized muffins, increase baking time to 12 to 15 minutes)

Faux German Chocolate Cake
Cake
One packet of the IP Chocolate pancake
mix in the water as directed if you were making a muffin (see back of packet)
Add a splash of coconut extract
Spay a remakin with olive oil or cooking spray(small oven safe ceramic dish)
cook in the microwave for 30-50 seconds
It will be soufflé like and will expand
Frosting
Add a dash or 3 of vanilla RTD to the Walden farm caramel sauce (enough to frost your cake), add a bit of coconut extract -- mix well
Pour/spoon the frosting on your cake
Sprinkle with some unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

lava cakes

now this is an easy one! take the pancake of your choice and mix it with 100ml of cold water. spoon half of the mixture into a small cup size oven safe dish and bake at 350 for 15 min's take it out add a chocolate, butterscotch or raspberry walden farms dip sauce and then spoon the other half of the mixture on top and place back into the oven for another 15-20min's eat hot right out of the oven! now if you want a little extra twist add a big spoon full of walden farms marshmello dip on top... its better then dream whip

Chocolate Mug Cake...Instant Joy!
1 pkg Chocolate Drink ( replace with other drinks try with vanilla drink) Do NOT use the puddings!!!
1 egg white
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon splenda (or sweeten with other sweetener to taste )
Splash of vanilla
Directions:
Put the drink mix in a big mug
Add enough water to bring it to a slightly watery pudding consistency, just enough to be able to mix easily
Add other ingredients (egg white, baking powder, olive oil, splenda, vanilla )
Mix it like crazy with a big fork till it's silky smooth
Put it in the microwave for 3 minutes ON TOP OF A BIG PLATE
Watch as it expands like crazy
Let cool
Eat... and enjoy

Cupcakes
To make the cupcakes I beat 2 egg whites and 2oz of water until it is all foamy and then SLOWLY fold in the pudding packet of choice -- lemon (my personal fav), butterscotch, chocolate, vanilla, they all taste great especially dipped in the WF. I add whichever spices and extracts I feel like being creative with, along with 2 tablespoons of granulated splenda (probably about 1 individual splenda packet if you are using the yellow packages). Spray a muffin tray with olive oil cooking spray (a good way to get in some of that oil), and fill them up half way ( I usually get about 5-6 ) fill the empty ones with water so they cook evenly and bake for 20 minutes at 350F.

Jennydoodle pudding cake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a blender, combine (2) egg whites, (1) t. vanilla and 2 oz. of water. Blend well
Pour liquid contents into a bowl, and gently fold in pudding packet. I usually add a little powder, mix it up, add a little more, etc... The final result is a "batter" similar to brownies. And yes, I lick the bowl and spoon
To bake, I use (2) small corning ware dishes, you could also make them in a muffin tin, and divide them into (3) equal muffins. I spray the bottom of the dish with Pam so the cakes won't stick.

The cakes will get VERY large while baking, and will deflate when cooling. If you put too much batter into a small baking dish, your cakes will literally explode in the oven. It is VERY important to only fill the baking dish or muffin tin 1/2 way. Which is why you will get 2 small cakes or 3 muffins.

-Bake at 350 for 15-16 minutes. Let cool and enjoy a mini cake.

(2) notes:
1). I have only tried this with Lemon, Butterscotch and Vanilla puddings. They have all turned out excellent! I haven't tried with Chocolate because I don't really care for the chocolate pudding, it is very chalky to me.
2). If you are making the cakes in a muffin tin, fill the empty muffin "holes" with water so that the cakes bake evenly.

Today I made chocolate pudding cakes with a little cinnamon and coconut extract with one splenda. I only used one egg white.

BASIC MOUSSE

1. Beat 2 egg whites with a pinch of sea salt, two pinches of cream of tartar, and 1-3 teaspoons sugar substitute like Splenda. Beat until peaks form and the whites are solid. Set aside in refrigerator.
2. Make any flavor Ideal Protein pudding according to directions.
3. Because the egg whites are not sweet, for some flavors of puddings, you may want to add additional spice to either the pudding or egg whites. (Stevia flavors to egg whites are excellent (like vanilla creme). Cinnamon goes well with many of the puddings as well)
3. Fold in egg whites (do not beat) until blended.

Makes two generous portions... which still only count as 1 non-restrictive!

TOPPERS
When ready to serve your Mousse, try crumbling 3-4 Ideal Protein soy balls on top. (i.e., Chocolate, Peanut, Apple Cinnamon). The crunch and sweetness really makes it special.

A sprinkle of cinnamon is good on many flavors.

Fresh basil or rosemary on strawberry is refreshing.

Yeah, but not IP bars. I stopped IP when I began P2 because of cost. I have found some super great chocolate and mocha wafers (die for). But I just found them a week ago, so I was really struggling for a few months (i.e. eating chocolate on nonfun days). But still I try not to have them until my P1 day. But you're right I can have them as a snack. it's just going back to a regular diet gives you many other options...

Not a lemon pudding fan either, could enjoy them as waffles w/some WF Syrup though, they tasted like medicine to me otherwise!

I love the HealthSmart (NashuaNutrition.com)15 g protein Peanut Butter bars. They have a thick rich chocolate coating over smooth peanut butter. It's a challenge for me to have just 1, so when I'm in a rush and am on the go, I'll use one of them. I thoroughly enjoy it and this way there's no danger of having a second. I have them with 12-16 ounces of water/coffee/tea and in 15 minutes, am completely full and satisfied. By the way, same brand has a phenomenal 15 g protein variety package of bars, most of them chocolate, and I really liked each of them. Pretty unusual for me, I usually find a few of them tasting "off". Not so with Healthsmart chocolate bars.

Also, as I look for more and more alternatives - for the sake of variety and general interest, have found a number of the bariatric food products suitable.

What about the 25 calorie hot chocolate mix - since not in ketosis - these would work, yes?
