I was told that lettuce was a 'freebie' and I could eat as much of it as I wanted when I was hungry. Any type of lettuce. Since I'm a romaine lover, that is always my lettuce of choice.
I count cucumbers and celery towards my 4 cups of veggies/day.
And I don't eat lettuce every day. Mostly I eat if if I'm having my protein packet of some type with a big salad at lunch. Including 2 cups salad veggies of course.
