Well, I have to say that I see nothing wrong with what you were eating before, except for perhaps mixing up your proteins, which you are changing anyways (some have noted that solely focusing on low/no fat proteins long term can cause a stall). A lot of folks do restricteds from Day 1 with no problem, but others are more sensitive - especially if they have 'higher carb' veggies the same day, so that's another good experiment you are doing. And honestly, some folks just hit a stall sometimes, but then bust through with an impressive number soon after. I am very interested to see what your next WI shows. Just stay OP and the scale will show it (eventually). I myself am still waiting to come down from an 11 day stall and have faith!

Thanks so much. I had only been eating salmon once a week and crab meat once a week. Am traveling for the remainder of the week so will rev up on some filet

Personally I would not cut the restricted...because it might just be time to lose and you might think it is because of that. Are you eating the oil with your meals? Are you exercising....if you are you might need more or creating muscle. What size clothing are you.....you might be closer to goal than you think. At 5'6" your body may want 145-150 (probably a size 4 or 6).

Aussie girl,

I'm sorry about the plateau and the coach. Good grief. I think I am hitting a plateau as well. I will listen to this great advice and follow it as well. This diet does work, I know. I try not to be impatient with the lack or very slow weight loss, but it is discouraging. Best foot forward, keep walking!
