Great losses so far, congratulations everyone. I am so proud of everyone, sticking to this plan thru whatever may come your way to try and stop you. We all have to change our way of thinking and not let anything stand in our way of our goal to be skinner and healthier!!

Well, this morning was weigh in #20 and I actually gained a pound , but that's okay. I know that all the stress if the past two weeks has alot to do with it and me not getting all of my water in last week didn't help things out any as well.

UPDATE: The bank finally recouped all of the money back and removed all of the overdraft charges from my account. I did hear last week that there was a Security Breech at the office in Atlanta that does the processing of all the credit cards and debit cards before it goes to your bank and 1.5 million people were effected. I am wondering if that is what happened with my card. I guess I will never know. I sure hope that whoever did this to me is enjoying what they bought. I am still waiting to hear back from Wal-Mart with the report of what was bought and where it was sent to. If it was sent to a private address I am going to press charges!! But I know in my heart that I will never know.

Good luck to those who still have to weigh in this week. And remember any loss is a good loss!!!! I hope everyone has a great OP day and week.
I am so glad to hear that your bank has taken care of you, what a relief. But also..... WOW!!!!!!! you are looking great! I love that new profile picture.

What I'm writing isn't new - it was the fine folks on this website before me that gave me these ideas. I am posting it here since I recently did this and wanted the new folks to be aware of it. I am indebted to those folks before me who would share these simple recipes on the Daily thread because it made it easier to stay on the program, esp in the first few weeks. In those early weeks, I was too overwhelmed to also check the recipe listings, but I did read the daily thread religiously.

Vanilla almond shake: This is one of my favorites: Take 1-2 c spinach, and a little water, chop finely in your handy chopper (my ninja, some have bullets). Then add a touch of vanilla extract, almond extract, vanilla flavored stevia, vanilla drink or pudding, and let it chop away till smooth. I drink 2/3 of it.

The remaining 1/3 is poured into a small pyrex cup, put in the freezer until I can no longer wait to eat it - could be a half hour or 2-3 hours. It does become frozen if I leave it in 3 hours and then I might put it in the microwave for 10 seconds to help it defrost faster. Anyway, it makes a great treat right before bed, satisfying and this way I get 2 treats out of the packet. Feels indulgent but isn't.

This is something I see myself doing after I lose all the weight and go into lifelong maintenance. __________________

I can DEFINITELY see myself making the spinach smoothie well out of IP and into maintenance. I've found that blending in ice just makes it a super yummy shake. I haven't added any extracts - I'll try that next.

And rhubarb...where have you been all my life. You turn my raspberry jelly into a dreamy fruit filled snack. I add a light touch of WF marshmallow dip mixed in and it's a sinful parfait. I am still not 100% "on-taste" w/all the WF products, but the light touch mixed in is AWESOME!

And don't get me started on zuchinni...I sauteed up some peeled suckers w/splenda & cinnammon then baked with some egg whites & topped with crispy cereal & WF caramel sauce...hello apple crisp!

I've REALLY been missing my fruit and these sweet substitutions really helped.

Wow what great news on the boards today!! Just catching up from the weekend!! Congrats to all of the WI's and NSV!!

I was never a big veggie eater before this diet journey that started only 2 months ago, but something funny happened today. I went to the cafe at lunch today to check out the daily specials with a friend (I brought my own lunch), and was super excited to see they had zucchini as a veggie of the day so I ordered some!!! Wow things have changed!! lol

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Isn't it funny how we look for veggies on the menu now instead of something else? I went to lunch with a friend yesterday and he said is there something you can eat here? I said of course, there is ALWAYS a salad....lol....he said true, but I just wanna make sure there is something you can have. He was really sweet, He tells me all the time, I need to eat like you...lol...I tell him well when you are ready you know I will help you out...he said I KNOW!

One good thing was that I had no scale there the whole time. I did stay totally OP with the exception of one night when I was too tired to cook, and had an IP shake instead. Got home yesterday, hopped on the scale, and I am down 10 pounds!
Feeling in a very good spot, and WI is not until Thursday, so hoping for more!!
Congratulations on the new grandbaby AND the 10lbs!!

It's better to IP cheat than non-IP cheat. Now you've also identified a trigger for your eating so you can try to avoid it in the future.

Did great over Easter Sunday by planning not to eat anything that wasn't OP. Coffee with a friend in the morning, didn't eat the pastries, lunch at Lola in Seattle (awesome BTW) and stayed OP, dinner at a friend's and even passed up dessert when people were telling me "just one won't hurt"! Ha! Got through that one too. I love that I have willpower. Don't think I've ever had that before.

Congratulations!!

I LOVE getting my hair cut and colored. Kinda just perks you up a bit and makes you feel rejuvenated! Enjoy it!

So true. Not just for IP, but for any diet. I think of the people I know that have had bypass surgery and they weren't ready to give up food, so they gained a large amount of their weight back. You have to make the lifetime committment to change your eating habbits. If you just follow the rules while you lose the weight, you aren't going to keep it off.

Good for you for sticking with it! I'm a big emotional eater and it can be very hard, but you know what, you did it! Hope you and your 4 year old are feeling better. Have a great week!

Whew. Survived my 40th bday along with a surprise party - full italian meal catered. I ate fish & broccoli. Cake? Not me - I had the double chocolate IP bar. I won't lie - I suffered this weekend between that and Easter (as I am the ultimate chocolate lover). But I overcame staying 100% OP & I'm hoping to reap the reward when I'm at my WI in Thursday.

Hope everyone has a great day

H2O.... I have an hour commute to work ... so I drink alot of water on my drive into work. So I ate 1/2 a Protien bar because I have to (but Im NOT hungry). My coach said yesterday to squeeze in an IP Drink if I can...

I dont have the headaches... but My allergies are kicking in tho *sigh*.

Last Nite my challenge was kicking my habit of a large portioned dinner. Soooo, I was still feeling hungry and I doubled up on the veggies and water.
I was stuffed sufficiently.... I did good! lol

Wishing everyone an IP OP day!
Mindset is EVERYTHING~ keep it positive people.
Great job! Wonderful Attitude, I don't have allergies but I hear they are h***.
I do however have the headaches they hit me on day 5 yuck!

Day 7 and I seem to be looking for munchies in the afternoon....more than last week. I think I'm already not being as strict as I should to make sure that I eat a big enough lunch. I made OP deviled (sp?) eggs for myself for Easter and have been eating the left overs as my protein lunch. Will go back to packets....I just can't stand to waste food. I need to get over that. It *is* a waste if I eat something I shouldn't just to keep it out of the garbage. Like clearing your whole plate of food even if you are no longer hungry!

On the bright bright bright side...I weighed myself this morning since my WI w/my doc yesterday was a day early. I am down 7 pounds. Woo hoo!

Glad to be on this site! Good luck to everyone.
