Okay, I think I figured it out. I made this today and strayed from my other versions which was a big mistake. I had some lime flavored olive oil and thought I would add that because I like the combination of chocolate and lime. Big mistake. So, I tried to cover it up with orange extract. Bigger mistake and adding the vanilla stevia for sweetener did not help much.
But, this is what happened today. I think the texture was okay though it seems a bit oily but the taste was so bitter it was hard to eat. What it tasted like to me was the baking soda. Have you ever had...forget it. I just figured out my problem. Apparently I was not awake. I put baking soda instead of baking powder. It was dreadful. No wonder we are burping. Okay, hope I gave you all a good laugh. I have baking soda and baking powder in red cans. Did not realize that. On another note my zucchini omelets were quite good. No gum or anything is going to get this taste out of my mouth. |
I just made this and it was delicious! I beat 1 egg added 1 tsp each of vanilla and baking powder, the chocolate drink mix and half a cup of water and baked it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. I didn't use any olive oil or sweetener but I thought it came out good:smug:

Made this and love it!! Gonna add the WF chocolate sauce next time over top! Just thinking about it make my mouth water! mmmm

bump - for my fellow chocolate lovers :)
ps-if you make this, don't forget to add the water. i forgot to when i made mine for the first time. it came out dry, but dunking it in coffee or tea would have done the trick i think! |
IP 2 Bite Brownies w/ Raspberry Sauce

In another bowl, mix remaining ingredients until blended. Add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix together (don't over stir). Spray a mini-muffin pan with PAM & spoon 1 tbsp into each tin. Bake for 7 minutes. Let cool & enjoy!! Raspberry Sauce 1/4 c WF raspberry fruit spread 2 tbsp water 1 pkg Splenda In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk all ingredients together until the WF fruit spread breaks down. Serve warm (otherwise it turns back into a spread) & use as a dip for your chocolate treats! I wasn't wildly crazy about the raspberry sauce, but I am not a fan of most WF products. By breaking down the jelly to a sauce though makes it taste a lot better (to me)! I also think I'll make these into bigger cupcakes next time because eating 12 was hard for me... the texture isn't quite "cake like" obviously! :) Still really happy with how this turned out!! Yum! |

Oops.. I meant to post pics!

Those look delicious!! I did big cupcakes for me to eat at a birthday party out of the same recipe. Yum! I mixed WF marshmallow and chocolate to use as frosting. Not quite as good as the real stuff, but not bad!

Mmm... WF marshmallow? Yum!! Does it have a fluffy texture?

I found a recipe using the orange drink, reduced the oil, as suggested in the recipe. Cooked up with the texture of spray insulation and tasted about as bad as I imagine spray insulation would taste.
I shaved a restricted chocolate bar (I was behind one protein pac,) over some of it and let the bar melt, then is was slightly more palatable, once the chocolate was gone thought, back to the insulation. I will try it again with another flavour, use the full TBSP of oil and see what happens. Donna Gel http://www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar091...b/0/36/11/.png |
This sounds delicious! I'm going to try it next time I have the drink packets!
