I'm creative in the cooking area, I stick them in soups, in the pudding packets and make muffins, salads, steamed, grilled, cover them with my meat-fish, I even like most on the list and switch them daily... I'm just plan tired of them. I love eatting the protein no problem, the packets no problem... just I have to force the veggies. I sit and stare at them, hoping they would turn into something else. I go through this weekly... So I pretty much stick to cukes, broccoli and green beans.. I did have steamed cauliflower yesterday. only because I went to someones house for dinner!

Only WF mayo it allowed... because of the fat content and the low-fat Mayo add other things to make it taste good. Which if you add mustard - or spices to the WF mayo... it's not that bad. I use it with tuna and chicken to make a salad spread.

To auntdee, sorry about your veggie burnout. I don't know if pureeing them would help? They could turn into a really nice soup or addition to existing IP soup. Or maybe you could even hold your nose and chug them I have a cast iron grill skillet that really gives my veggies a great grilled taste--especially asparagus. I hope you find a way to love them again!

Thank you for the input about the mayo--I am thinking I will just make a buffalo chicken salad and mix the hot sauce and WF bleu cheese dressing with my chopped, cooked chicken, then put it on top of the salad. Or buffalo chicken lettuce wraps.

I just got back from my first WI! 6.2 lbs!!!

I am very happy with this program and I can't wait to start trying out all these recipes you guys have been talking about.

I have a major sweet tooth, which I thought would be the hardest thing to overcome, but the Chocolate Drink made hot is so good and perfect for my snack on these cold nights. I've never felt this hopeful about any diet. Thanks for all of the support!

Down 2.4 this week...I thought it would be more because I kept thinking I was at 212 last week and I was at 210! So instead of a 4.4 loss I had a true 2.4 loss...need to be more careful with looking at my #s 'cause it kind of bummed me out...but I know in the end it will all come off...one way or another!

Default Nsv???????

So, I'm not exactly sure if I would call this an NSV but I have noticed something else getting too big.... my shoes!! Has anyone else experienced this? I would never have imagined losing weight in my feet. Of course as I think of the width it makes sense that they aren't as fat as they were but even the length is getting a bit sloppy. Oh well, for now I'll wear thicker socks.

Yup, lost a size in my feet alone... But it makes sense if you relate how your fingers will slim down.

Good excuse for NEW SHOES!!!

Just from personal experience only - if you exercise make you sure you have protein just before and just after your workout. I have found the weeks I exercise my weight loss is slower and my lean muscle will go down and my body fat up. For me personally now I'm just sticking with some floor exercises and some light walking outside when I feel the need to move. My coach calls this the couch potato diet for a reason.

Makes sense if your fingers go down in size. I bought myself a new pair of cowboy boots a couple of months ago (you can't be a Texan without cowboy boots ) and the left boot feels a little tight in the width after wearing them for a little while. However I've decided to wait on taking them to the shoemaker until I have lost more weight. I have a feeling they won't feel so tight with more weight loss.

I havent weighed in this week, but i am not very happy. Saturday, i went to a hockey game in toronto in the afternoon. I had my shake and veggies before i left (around 12ish) and then went to the game and then we went to a restaurant in Toronto. I didnt eat from 12 as i didnt bring any food with me until we got to the restaurant around 8ish at night. i was starving, as i only ate celery at lunch. I ate the greek salad with feta because i was so hungry and then had a chicken souvlaki and veggies)which was OP. Then i didnt eat my IP snack that night to compensate for the greek salad. Plus the fact that my coach restricted me from exercising this week because she wanted to see if i would drop more. Then i had my work xmas dinner and i was very good, but i did eat the salad with balsamic vinegratte on it, then had chicken and veggies(which was a very small and pitiful amount), the service at the restaurant sucked and we didnt get finished eating until 11:00!!! Needless to say between lunch and dinner was another long time. I think those things really threw my body out of whack this week. as i gained 1.5 lbs. I find this so discouraging, the only cheat was a glass of red wine at my xmas dinner. Does anyone think it is because of the reasons i mentioned for the weight gain?
