I love this thread!
I want to be able to hike all I want and feel my muscles growing and getting stronger. I want to get my health totally back, to where I am not dealing with chronic fatigue (it hasn't happened yet, despite the weight loss, but there's always hope...). I want to perform at a dulcimer festival this summer and feel quite svelte doing it! I already have the dress purchased for it, though it now needs to be taken in alot. |

1. Would love to tuck in my shirt and wear a cute little belt. 2. Be able to do stenuous things without getting winded in 5 minutes. 3. Feel confident in how I look and stop making excuses why I cant go somewhere because I am embarassed about my appearance. |

1. To have my husband think I am the sexiest thing on the planet
2. To buy regular clothes 3. To not have my inlaws look down on my cause I am fat. They are all thin, although all of their grands sons have married "big" women! |
1. To be able to shop at "normal" size clothing stores instead of the "big girl stores".....no more double digit or x clothing!

1. Ride my horse well enough to win a blue ribbon at our local horse shows

1. Take my jeans off at the end of the day and not have a red welt around my waist from them cutting into me all day.

I would like to shop in the regular size sections of the store
I would like to look at a picture of myself without being embarassed I would like to incorporate healthy eating and daily activity into my life forever. |

- be comfortable meeting with clients and past friends without feeling embarassed about being fat
- to be able to wear low rise jeans with a shirt tucked in and a cute belt - to look forward to wearing anything I want Note: at dinner with a Client several years ago he was talking about a business associate we both knew who had gained a great deal of weight. My Client pointed out that when someone is overweight it is a signal that somewhere their life is out of balance. He was an extremely athletic 67 yr old. I never forgot that statement and it certainly rang true with me. |
1. Feel fit and confident and know that I look fit and confident.
2. Wear a belt. A really cute blingy belt with "normal" sized jeans. 3. Regain my sex drive because I'm not thinking about how I look. |

1. I want to quit smoking but I need to lose weight first (just couldn't afford to gain anything while at my starting weight).
2. I want to exercise with joy and confidence, not frustration and humiliation. 3. I want to head into the second half of my life as a healthy woman (the big 50 is right around the corner) **stealing a 4th - I want to be HOT again, lol*** |
3 things
When I get to my goal weight, I want to:
1. Buy bras with cute, skinny straps that I will proudly wear under tank tops. 2. When around my kids' teen friends, be proud that I do not look or dress like a frumpy mom (i.e. wear some clothes with shape!). 3. Be proud of how much better my body looks and accept my body as imperfect (and be ok with a teensy bit of muffin top if I must). |
Be satisfied with how I look
Wear a bikini and not care that I am 40 and have 2 kids! Be satisfied with how I look (really struggling with this....) |
1. Be able to run in 5Ks again
2. Be able to go on a long backpacking trip. 3. Buy medium sized blouses and size 8 pants. |

Get back on skis.
Take horseback riding lessons(without being afraid I will kill the horse with my lard butt). Lol Swim a 500 freestyle in under 10 minutes(my ten yr old does it in 7). |
My three are:

1. Be able to try new things and not have to worry about looking silly. I can't do looking silly and having people think I'm too fat at the same time. Just one or the other.
2. Be a good role model to my daughter and students. You can do anything, if you are willing to really try. 3. Go on a vacation where skinny people go, like Sandals or some other resort and feel like I fit in. 4. Have other men look at me and think, "her husband is one lucky guy." |
