I stalled at the beginning of the diet after the first week. My coach told me to start eating 4 protein packs a day instead of 3 and it worked. I started losing weight.

I pretty much stalled as I got closer to my goal -- I lost maybe 3 pounds in the last five weeks. I decided to go to Phase 2 -- it seems to have started something up again -- with the weight loss. I agree with the gal who said you should cheat as a last resort -- add more protein or consider Phase 2 for a couple of days. I'm also like you -- have to have the novilax -- or it is the big C for me.

Good luck! As frustrating as it may seem -- you are not gaining!

I stalled for three weeks too and was 100% compliant- made me crazy because I was starving and yet lost no weight and was paying lots of $$ for the program BUT THEN THE ANSWER... and it worked like a charm and I have dropped three lbs/wk ever since.

My coach said it was all about timing and that my body didn't trust me and was holding on to the fat. She told me that within 30 min of waking up you must have an IP. She then said that you must have your second IP (I have my restricted) within 2 hours of your first. The third IP is then essentially your lunch and you have it within 3 hours of your second IP. Dinner then is as per normal.

This completely worked for me - took about 5 days and the weight started to fall off again. Good Luck!

Bermudagirl - by doing this you do not have a packet for snack? Or are you having four packets a day?

We are actually only allowed three IPs a day- two are non restricted and one is restricted. Its a bit backward from what most seem to be doing but they say the science is there so here is a typical day

7 am get up
7:30 IP Pudding and a coffee
9:30 IP restricted
12:30 ish IP Pudding and 2 c veggies
6 pm 7 oz protein and 2 c veggies

You do end up hungry in the evening but the looses are good. I also found eating the restricted on its own (without veggies) helped speed the loss up. Hope this works for you!
