WOW wayward that is A LOT of walking...geeze. good for you though. Hopefully it won't hender your loss this week.

Where is Port this morning?

Pat - sorry your last 2 weigh ins are discouraging, but glad you are staying strong!

Redy - those are great results! Congrats!

Ashley - Welcome!

Hi everyone! Today is my first day on IP. I'm trying to stay as positive as I can as I've never been big on veggies, or soup for that matter. Reading your stories, advice and accomplishments is definitely inspiring. I look forward to "spending time" with you all in the months to come.

Welcome and congrats on your first day. I don't use the soups honestly, I am more of the pudding and drinks kinda girl. I only had the soups in my starter pack and haven't had any since and I've been OP for 18 weeks now. You get used of the veggies, play around with them using different spices and such, be creative. Good luck :)

Thanks wuv2bloved! I'm definitely making notes as to what I like and don't like.

That's funny, I really liked the soup. For my go-to items in the beginning, I tried to mimic real food ... things I would eat post IP. I did the IP omelet for BF, the chicken soup (extra water add sauteed veggies) for lunch and a pudding as a shake for my snack(s).

Since I started using alternatives, I am shakes only (buying them at Walmart). Loving the protein latte . . . my new favorite =)

Speaking of soup, very disappointed to find out the IP broccoli cheese has trans fats. Wish I had looked before I bought a box.

Hey Everyone,

Good afternoon..

I hope everyone is doing well!

Well, i have had a non scale victory literally..I havent stepped on my scale for two days now! woot go me! its funny..but i just started forgetting to weigh myself?? Good thing i didnt..cause guess who showed up..You guessed it! TOM!!!!! :S i DONT like it! My stomach looks very very bloated right now..and i know that im retaining water bad..so its good that i dont weigh myself or i would feel totally down and discouraged!!!

WAYWARD...wow! lots of walking..good for you!
WUV-im around just busy today with meetings and baby girl
Coliep-Glad to hear that you love your drink! There is nothing worse that eating or drinking something on a diet consistently that you dont like...ewww..just ask me..i hate my pudding right now!

Whoops I forgot they changed my WI to Tuesdays from Wednesdays.
Good thing they emailed my wife to confirm.
O.k. I will say I was bummed because I wanted to get out of the 60's and I would have if I wasn't a day early.
But still good week -6.
Time to go eat something before walking.
Stay focused everyone.
And keep positive.

Thats like totally sick!!
Its so not fair that guys lose faster then women!! tut tut! Like seriously! 5 pounds and 4 pounds and 6 pounds!!!! crazyness

Well...im plugging away at the day... i feel really blah..but surviving...i dont feel hungry at all..craving really bad..but suprisingly almost zero appetite..which i find odd..but hey..its better than being hungry and craving at the same time! But im so bloated..i dont even want to look in the mirror!!!

Have i mentioned that i like chocolate mint roobios tea!!

Wayward 08-30-2011 10:15 PM

Port, everyone is different. I did haven a week where I only lost 1.
The wife only lost 3 this past 2 weeks, but she is at 26 so far, so she is still doing good.
Everyone varies... don't get frustrated.
I have been pushing myself pretty hard the past 3 weeks too.
13 more pounds to lose before end of Sept. to make first goal.

Keep up the good work everyone!!!

coliep 08-31-2011 08:26 AM

Wow Wayward. That is AMAZING! Keep up the great work!

I saw 143 this morning, almost down to my lowest low on IP. Fingers crossed I don't start the upward bounce this time. 8 pounds from goal baby.
AND, even better, I feel that I look better this morning. I am sure its part psychological and part that I kicked butt yesterday at the gym and lifted a lot. Got lots of compliments on how toned/strong my arms looked and this morning the belly felt a little flatter (Port - that is my puffy area too and I know it stinks on "big" feeling days). Anyway, I am feeling the little boost i needed =)

Paint Lady 08-31-2011 09:29 AM

Good morning everyone! This is the first time I've posted in this thread, I'm not sure why I haven't opened it before. I just had my 4th WI 2 days ago and I've lost a total of 18 lbs. I haven't had any problems staying OP. I actually like quite a few of the IP packets. I've seen a few friends here and there around town that haven't seen me in a month and my weight loss is becoming obvious to those people. Some of my clothes are starting to fall off. I can pull my shorts off without unbuttoning them, which is a timesaver with all of the trips to the restroom, lol.

bludolphin 08-31-2011 10:18 AM

happy dance, i made a mini goal I stepped on the scale today before WI (I know wuv I know) and I made my goal of losing 20 pounds by end of summer, I count today end of summer. :) Next goal is to be down to 275 by DH birthday in mid November.
