Default Up since 3 am - really hungry

I have been awake since 3 am. Had my vanilla pudding and coffee around 4:45 am and have had a lot of water. I am really hungry. I opened one of my restricteds to have something to crunch, but I don't want to eat it all this morning -- I want to save it.

I'm looking for some suggestions on how to get through this day without deviating from the plan.

Help!

I find that sipping a cup of hot tea helps alot! Also a sliced up cucumber works wonders!

I wound up eating my protein in a big salad for an early lunch, put the crunchy restricted things away (had just a few) and ate a restricted bar. I'm totally full and ready to just eat the remainder of my veggies with one more unrestricted packet for the rest of the day.

I'll definitely be making a cup of herbal tea tonight.

Thanks!

If you find you are hungry later, you can always try a romaine stir fry. Use you oil (if you haven't already) . . . it is bulky and the fat will help tide you over a bit.

Is up at 3:00 your normal schedule, or was this something new?.. either way, not getting enough sleep can affect your appetite... according to a CNN.com Health article:
-- Sleep deprivation can leave you feeling drowsy and slow-witted, but that's not all: New research suggests it may also rev up your appetite.

After sleeping for only four hours, people tend to eat more calories on the following day than when they get a good night's sleep, the study found. This was especially true of women, who consumed an average of 329 more calories when sleep deprived than when well rested.
Get enough sleep tonight & you'll probably be back on track tomorrow...

hugs

I was exhausted yesterday, so I went to bed extra early. I never sleep a full 8 hours, but I had to get up to go to the bathroom at 3 am and just couldn't get back to sleep.

Going to go to bed early, but later than last night, so I am hopeful to sleep more and later. I just feel sick and sleep deprived today -- but totally on program.

Actually, after my lunch with 5 oz of protein, the restricted bar and a couple of glasses of water, I'm feeling too full. This day can't go fast enough for me.
