W7 - 1 lbs down. Gosh why doesn't it speed up.
I was feeling a little weak now a days so I switched to alternate plan P1. Atleast more food and even if I lose a pound I won't feel bad

I hope it's okay for me to follow along here. I have a bit more weight than 20 lbs to lose so I'm looking for the support from those in the same boat. I've recently re-started IP. It worked great for me last year - I got down to 143 (I can't remember ever being that weight) and then I let life and stress get in the way of my focus and here I am. I am determined to get through this though - and get to maintenance. So "hello" everyone. I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you

Wow this is a great thread....and a long one! I started IP in Feb at 178.8 and today I weigh 157.2 which is almost 22 pounds. I feel amazing but also stuck. I can't seem to move the scale the last two weeks. The last 7 pounds are going to be the hardest...I can tell! Glad I can journey along with you all!

Glad I came across this thread. I did IP in 2012 ans lost 18 lbs in 2 months, then had a hysterectomy in Dec and had a rough winter. Gained it all back. I feel so horrible because I can't fit into any of my clothes!
I just restarted IP yesterday and am glad to come across this forum. I need encouragement and I'm so grateful for all th winfo I've read about alternatives.

Have you cut out restricted snacks? I've found if I avoid restricteds and replace with a 100 calorie or less drink packet the scale will move a bit more each week.

My scale moves slowly, but I feel great and I feel smaller.

I have 6 pounds to go and it's just dragging. I read here that the last few pounds could be very stubborn. Are you exercising? Is it your TOM?
One thing that helped me a little bit is a detox tea recommended by my coach. Traiditonal medicinals - Every day Detox it is just a herbal tea that you can drink once or twice a day depending on whether you like it or not. It helped with my water retention. Hope this helps.

Smile Lost 23 and moving on

I started IP on Feb 26, 2014, with 21 pounds to lose. As a Diabetic, I have been on the alternative plan. Today I hit 2 pounds below my goal! It took 13 weeks of no cheating. I am starting Phase 2 and getting a bit anxious about the changes that are coming. It's pretty simple to follow the rules when you only need to choose from the IP foods. Not asking for feedback here, just checking in with my first post. I cannot believe the success I have had - no other diet has ever worked for me.
