I get this as well, and gas in the evening. It was to do with veggies and what veggies you pick (some make you have more gas then others) and water plays a huge part of it. I take digestive enzymes (from Shoppers drug mart in Canada, Swiss bread 4 a day) 6 out of 7 days a week they help.

Do you know which IP packets contain sugar alcohols? I checked the Ingredients PDF that Wuv had posted a while back, and I not see sugar alcohols listed at all. Are they called something else? Thanks!

The bars and the cookie and maybe some of the puffs that are sweet. It is listed as malitol, but on the nutritional information on my boxes it lists sugar alcohols separately. I think all the IP bars have some.

Oh, wow. That explains a lot! I wondered why I was feeling...um...gassy. Sugar alcohols always get me, and I have a bar for breakfast most days.

That reminds me...I ran out of probiotics. Just ran out and got some more, as they do seem to help with the bloating. I started out great this morning and now I feel totally bloated and wiped.

I'm confused about sugar alcohols. if they are in the packets they would be listed in the ingredients I just looked at the ingredients in the boxes I have at home and don't see any listed....

Maybe you just don't have any with it. The puddings dont. But all the bars I looked at list malitol syrup.

For some reason the mushroom soup is doing the to me now too. I love it, but have switched to chicken for a bit! Maybe it's the mushrooms I add...
