Had my week 2 weigh in this morning. Down 4.2. Since I have TOM I will take it. That puts me at 10.4 for the 1st 2 weeks.

I have a measuring question for those of you that get measured by your coaches. I measure my thigh, calf, upper arm, waist, lower abdomen (my "pooch"), hips, and bust. Do you do neck and shoulders also? Is there any other area I'm missing? I will continue to just do as I'm doing but I was just wondering what they do. On a side note, I lost 5 inches total this week. 1.5 in my hips!

Had some personal issues come up last night and instead of turning to food I locked myself in the bathroom and cried so my kids wouldn't see me. It doesn't sound good but it was the better alternative because there is a case of coke that was screaming at me in the kitchen. That was the 1st time I felt a little weak. I made it through though.

I found the 170's! So excited! It has been two years since I saw them. I also lost a total of 7 inches last night at WI. 1.5 inches in my waist alone!

ItsAboutTime, my clinic does measure my neck and shoulders. I lost .25 inches in my neck last night which made me excited. I recomend measuring your neck and shoulders. You might get a nice surprise!

Interesting day today. I am taking my first client out to lunch since starting the diet. I looked over the menu already and there isn't much I can have. Even the vinegar and oil dressing is made with balsamic vinegar. My fiaonce suggested I just try my best and eat a very lean dinner tonight. Any other suggestions? Has anyone run into this where they have to eat "socially"? I don't want to get into the details with my customer, but it makes me look so demanding and picky when I can't just order something on the menu.

Funny story I have to share.....

Last night my 5 year old asked why my diet isn't working because I look the same. I explained how it will take awhile before you notice and it is working great and blah blah.

Then this morning my 8 year old, who wasn't in the room last night, says to me, "Mom you look so skinny today. You should look at yourself from the side you are lots smaller."

I think I'll go with the 8 year olds comments.

Next week I'll add my neck and shoulders to see what happens.

I went to lunch with a vendor of mine the 1st week and I had a grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms and just took it off the bun. I also had a salad but I didn't have packets of WF yet so I used light dressing. I had a lighter dinner and I was fine. Good luck!

I love regular coke! And diet dr pepper. When we went to the water park last week my husband got a fountain diet coke thinking I'd be able to share that so I did take a few small sips. Then I made him finish it off so I could fill it up with water! It was good but nothing worth cheating over.

In my experience, 8 year olds have far keener powers of observation than do 5 year olds.

Good Morning! Had WI#4 last night and was a bit disappointed with only a 1.8 loss. Which makes a total of 17.4 since starting - which is very nice!! I also had lost about 4 1/2 inches since last week, so my coach said sometimes you'll see the inches one week, and the weight the next. Not giving up at all, just ready to push forward for next week.

She also told me that for the "Chocolate lovers", like myself, the powder Choc. Drinks have 9 carbs, and if you couple that with 2 other higher carb items, you are over the 30 daily mark. So I'll try to be conscious of that in weeks coming. She also mentioned that they almost could be on the restricted list. ALSO......told me that the Choc. Pancakes should be on the once a week list too, anyone else hear anything like that? Apparently the RTD Choc only has 4 carbs, so next week I'll go for those, even though they cost more - why cant they make the powder less carbs like the RTD???? Interesting!

Ready to keep at this, and hope everyone has a fantastic day!!!!

Bickel, I keep 2 pkgs. of the individual Walden Farms dressing (in a baggie) in my purse at all times. You could get grilled chicken on the salad and then have your IP packet in the evening. I actually showed no shame yesterday, I made the IP pineapple drink and put it in a to go cup, then added ice while out and ordered a salad and used my own dressing. It has to be "all about you" Congrats on your progress

I have seen no weight loss for almost 2 weeks now. Last week WI #4 I had gone up .4lbs and this week I saw the scale move down a pound a few days ago but now it is back up to the pound i had lost. I hope i can attribute this to PMS. I noticed that I have had a longer than normal cycel of PMS. Usually I dont have the stiff tummy feeling till 1 week before my period. But this time I have been feeling it for almost 2 weeks now. Has anyone had that happen before

So I am back up 4 pounds after almost half a month of TOM related hormone craziness and then getting off plan... now I am due for TOM again but am very motivated to make sure I lose the bit I gained as well as a bit more by my weigh in on next Thursday. Photo shoot in exactly a month means exercise has to start as well! Walks and swimming as well as yoga are in the plan. It's just hard to motivate to move in the heat after standing in it and working in a shop all day! Luckily I have everyone's stories to read to keep me motivated! Any other diet I have done would have been officially over with this slip, instead I now will pick up and start fresh..and lose more weight!

Good morning!

WI #9 was last night and I was down 2.4 pounds. Considering the last month of my life has been absolute chaos, I'm good with that number. I'm up to 32 pounds for the 8 weeks I've been on IP. My goal was to average 4 pounds lost for the two months and guess what?! That happened!! I know it's slowing WAY down, so I'm hoping to be at 175 by the 25th. We'll see.

I'm really excited about my reflection in the mirror most of the time and am waiting on my thighs to catch up with the rest of my body--they're still pretty chubby!

Overall I'm feeling pretty meh about the diet lately. I have hardly been eating any veggies besides a random cucumber here and there. My coach isn't super excited about that habit, so I'm trying to get back to 100% OP.

I will say, right now my favorite foods are the cereal (because it's sooo easy) and the chocolate drink mix! I add a bit of WF chocolate syrup to the drink mix and it's really yum!

Have an awesome OP day!

Good Morning everyone!

A question and a comment... first - where are you purchasing the individual WF products? The place we go to does not carry them - is there somewhere (preferably in Alberta) that I can order them from?

And second - regarding the diet coke - I was a diet coke junkie - but since starting IP have had to find a 'replacement'... so for 0 carbs, 0 sugar and 0 fat we now buy "Diet Rite Cola" from Save On Foods... it isn't THE Diet Coke but it grows on you when you can't have the real thing! ;0) They also have Tangerine and Raspberry flavors - the BF likes those better but he was always anti-cola anyway - heehee!

Have a great OP day - and thanks to all who post on this forum - you've been great sources of advice and even more, fantastic inspiration!
